I don't know what snake wrap it but this is like the noodle material like the ones for the pool and it is cut so it easily goes around a pole. I bought it to protect my day care children from hitting their heads on the pole works great and easy to install.

Q: Are they uv resistant?

I’m not sure. We’re using them in our college colors in our basement rec room and they look great. We’re hoping they never see the sunshine. 😊
