This heater worked on my older (~2003) hot springs spa. I had to replace some other parts too, but eventually got it working and the heater is compatible and heating the tub.

High limit switch failed after 3 weeks. Disappointed because I set out to buy the best product, not the cheapest, and still ended up with a cheap product. Consider buying something else from somewhere else, that’s my advice.

Purchased to replace 2007 model Tiger River Sumatran heater, #73790. Wiring connectors provided to attach to the circuit board do not match original wiring connectors. Choice of reusing old sensor probes, or cutting/splicing included wires to make new probes fit. I opted to reuse old probes with the new O-ring seals. About 1 week now and appears to be working just fine.

Was wonderful. Replaced the 20 year old single barrel model. Plug and play.

Came very quickly and heated the hot tub up in no time. They should send you a diagram of how to jump the pressure switch on the motherboard. After reading the directions a few times I figured it out and had the old one out and this new one in within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this company.The price was also much better than the hot tub parts websites.

I've always been the kind of person that likes to do their own work. I change my own oil, do my own household work, etc. I also like to do my own work on my swimming pool and hot tub. Historically, that hasn't always been easy. For a long time it was difficult to get the replacement parts you needed. If you could find a source to purchase them, you invariably had to pay for the OEM replacement. In some cases, you could find used parts but that always seemed like a losing proposition--why replace one used part with another? More often than not, I'd just call my 'pool guy' to do whatever repair work was needed.That's no longer the case thanks to a thriving aftermarket of well made, highly functional and competitively priced products from third party companies. This is my first experience with the Autopartsfreer brand but they've done good work here. This hot tub heater is a perfect fit for my Hot Springs hot tub. The construction and materials look and feel just as solid as the OEM, if not more so. It has more of a 'crafted' feel and not something that is cheaply mass produced. It has built in overheat protection which is important not only for keeping the tub at a safe temperature but to protect your equipment. I used it to replace the original heater that had started to malfunction and now my hot tub works perfectly.I installed this myself--it's an easy job and one that you can do yourself assuming that you're comfortable working on your hot tub and/or know your way around a set of tools. When in doubt, however, it never hurts to contact a professional. This is a first rate replacement for the OEM replacement filter that will get your hot tub working again in no time. On top of everything, it's sold at a very reasonable price point. Hard to argue with a quality product that will save some money in the process. Highly recommended!

Will not refund my money on a part ordered 3 1/2 months ago and part is defective.
