What I received seemed to be old. The slick protective tape was buckled in places exposing the adhesive side to the air. Where it was not buckled, it was difficult to remove the protective tape in several places because it had adhered to the rubber. I carefully cleaned the target material (metal) and applied the tape. It seemed like it might stick, but just fell off the next day as I had the item to which I had applied it upside down in transit. The stuff actually just fell off under no load, leaving a sticky mess, of course. Not very happy with this product. It was almost certainly old stock but I tried to work with it anyway. Beware QC on this item!

Used to use dobtim before they went down hill, switched to this stuff and it seems to work well. I clean my aluminum parts with rubbing alcohol and heat them, and the rubber, to 65 C using an old 3D printer bed before I stick them together. Key to stick is a clean surface and warm materials. Haven't had an issue yet. Love that it comes in a 26' roll. 10' rolls are a pain when doing large quantities. Haven't noticed an odor. Last order was 3/30/2025.

This worked great for under my sewing machine pedal.

I used it to give my keyboard a new life as the rubber feet had gone hard and losing glues and falling apart. I cut off 2 10" pieces and tape it on and my keyboard stay where it is, so works great great. Problem is it has a smell actually make my nose tingle and run. I am hoping that will go away in a few days.Updated: 3/6/2025 reduced to two star from four, it works but the smell just would not go away after 2 months. It stinks and stings my nose.
