It does the trick
I own a sound-recording and audio post-production studio in the Metro-Detroit area and my 10yr old daughter was asking for a computer to do homework and to play Sims & Roblox. So, I gave her one of the lower spec'd old PCs we'd recently replaced. Its an MSi Gaming Plus X570 w/ an R5 3600X, 64GB DDR4 (16+16+32GB), GT-720 silent GPU, Noctua fans, 1TB M2-mounted Samsung 980 NVMe SSD, USB + NIC expansion PCIe card, and a LightScribe CD/DVD-RW ROM drive. In the studio, everything runs on our 3 wired networks. So, we never concerned ourselves with WiFi. In fact, we we disable and uninstall WiFi on every PC because it interferes with the mixing consoles controls.I took it home, set it up, tried installing all of her software and... 🤦♂️ No WiFi.Im too busy to run to Best Buy, but I found this on Amazon.Wow! WiFi7? I had just spent over $500 on an Asus WiFi6 router and few months earlier.I pay for the fastest speed Xfinity offers in the Detroit area and unlimited data, so that I'm able to manage my business from home when necessary, which often includes receiving massive zip files full of 48kHz/24bit wav files and sending zip files with large bundles of Dolby Atmos files (3GB to 100GB+ each)Well, that's all the circumstances, uses, and compatibility information you'll need. So, let's move on to the product itself....□ Compatible with Windows11 Pro and all of the PC components I named.□ Connects to the 2.4GHz and 5G WiFi signals just fine.□ Speed: I'm surprised to find that the computer in my office seems to be a little faster. The other computer is wired to a repeater on a different floor. I set them to the same WiFi network so that I could access files on my office PC from her room on the main floor. That way, I can handle some of the business side of my work from her room from time to time because the kids miss me when I'm working a lot.Im not sure why it's slower. Most likely due to how I set things up, but I figured I should still note it.Anyway, compatibility is great and the driver was supported on both Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro after I upgraded the OS with it

The Price!
The wifi card in my PC is built into the MB and my wifi speeds crashed and never recovered so i got this WIFI7 card .Install was a breeze ( if you have a built in wifi motherboard you will need to disable “wifi” and enable “wifi 2” ) and i went from 48.30 (average )mbps to 144.00 MBPS (average).

Works with AMD & is rock solid
I got this to replace an aging Asus WiFi Wireless AC adapter that had developed connection issues in Windows 10/11. It was a situation that was driving me batty because I would drop and re-connect several times after booting but also sometimes randomly while gaming (definitely not good). One concern was that maybe some recent upgrade (graphics card?) had introduced some source of electromagnetic interference inside the case that was causing issues. The MSI Herald-BE WiFi 7 Max includes a metal shield around the card that may help if that is an issue (the non-Max version does not have the shield). That made it an appealing upgrade even though I don't yet have a WiFi 7 router (but I'll be ready when I do).As some may be aware, Intel-based WiFi 7 cards have issues running on AMD chipsets (won't boot, etc.). While that may eventually be resolved now that WiFi 7 is official and Win11 24H2 supports WiFi 7, this MSI brand WiFi card uses a Qualcomm chipset and works just fine today. Quite literally install card, install drivers, connect to network and go. My system hasn't had any connection issues since. It is rock solid. For those curious, I installed this on a motherboard with the B450 chipset. Due to the size of my graphics card, the only place I could install the WiFi card is in the lower PCIEx16 slot even though the it only uses one PCIE lane. On top of that, the motherboard is limited to running that slot in PCIE 2.0 mode which means the data transfer rate of that single lane is limited to 4.0 Gbps (same as 500 MB/s). This is theoretically lower than that the max transfer rate of this card (which is 5.8 Gbps). As pretty much all of us know, though, you never connect at the full theoretical WiFi rate of a connection. I suppose somebody could probably come up with an ideal test/situation where that 4.0 Gbps limit creates a little bit of a bottleneck, but I doubt it will crop up in 99.99% of real world scenarios. Of course people with newer motherboards that run at PCIE 3.0 and above are beyond this potential bottleneck. More than anything, I'm saying the MSI Herald-BE Wi-Fi 7 Max will work well in an older system. It has for me.

Recommended product, but Check for adaptability first
More than tripled wifi speed on my WiFi 5 network. Was at 50Mb, now 173Mb. will upgrade modem later but mission accomplished for now

Junk! Try anything else before you buy this
My recommendation: Don't buy it! Driver problems abound! Look elsewhere!I have a Ryzen 7 3700x with a x570 chipset, and this wireless card has been the bane of my existence ever since I bought it. I wish I would have taken the hint when I got my first blue screen after installing it, but I thought a driver update would fix it. Since then, it's made it so that I can no longer put my PC to sleep - if I do, it no longer shows up in device manager until I move the card to a different PCIe slot. I've never used a piece of hardware with a fundamentally broken driver like this. I know I'm not the only one with this problem, and whatever is wrong with this thing seems to be permanent. Once I'm able to use ethernet again, I'm going to put a torch to this thing!

Not very good
This was not powerful enough to pick up my wifi signal from the router. I returned it and bought an ASUS AXE 5400 and that works great.
