Great fan, extremely quiet, well balanced blades, no blade wobbling, very energy efficient!
This replaced a 19" LED modern style ceiling fan that worked fine, but had a much smaller area of coverage than I thought it would. I also chose this model because it has an energy efficient DC motor. I lucked out and bought this during a sale so for the price, so got it at a good price. The instructions are "IKEA" style, with diagrams but does have some limited wording. If you follow the steps in the instruction manual in order, you'll save yourself some time. I didn't do that and initially began assembling the blades and attaching them to the motor housing, which I had to later undo because it was too cumbersome with the added weight while trying to attach it to the base plate. There is a hook on the base plate that attaches to your electrical box. The hook allows the motor housing to hang while you're making your electrical wiring connections with both hands. Our house is old and the original electrical box in the ceiling is small and the screw holes of the electrical box didn't align with the base plate holes. Included are several types of mounting screws and anchors but I chose to drill a new hole in the base plate that aligned with the electrical box. After making the wiring connections, you connect wiring harnesses. The next step is to attach the plate that holds the LED lamps to the motor housing. There is a slide switch on the LED plate that allows you to chose the color temperature which range from 3,000º - 6,500º. The instruction manual recommends you select the color temperature before putting the lamp cover on but the cover is very easy to remove if you want to change the color temperature later.Included is a handheld remote control (with a mounting bracket and comes with two AAA batteries). To turn the fan ON/OFF you can touch either the button with the ON/OFF symbol or a button with WAVY LINES. There are 6 fan speeds and a button to reverse the blade rotation. This moves a lot of air! The button that has the HOUSE icon on the remote is referred to as the SECURITY button and will turn the lights on for 5 minutes every 2 hours. You can set the timer from 1 - 8 hours. At first I thought the wall controller would replace the light switch but it doesn't and is not hardwired to any electrical wiring. Included are screws/wall anchors to attach it to the wall and a wall mounted controller (comes with two CR2032 batteries). As long as your light switch is in the ON position, the controller will allow you to turn ON/OFF the fan, LED light, fan speed, and LED brightness. I may just attach it to the wall using double stick tape.If you read the instruction manual and Quick Start Guide before turning it on they will explain the button functions and will minimize confusion and misunderstanding what the buttons on the remote and wall controller represent.

GREAT CHOICE
Very very happy with the ceiling fan and light. Instalation was very easy, and it is a nice clean simple look that we prefer. We put it in our living room and I am very happy with the amount of light it gives off, a lot brighter than expected with options on how bright you want.(that was nice). Plus being able to dim the light is a big plus. The fan itself is very quiet with 6 speeds and give a wonderfulAirflow. You get a remote and wall mount remote which can be placed anywhere since it doesn't need power which surprisingly came in handy. Never bought fans before, but plan on getting a few more of these. I bought a different one close in price and although its a nice fan the light size, quality, and remotes make this fan my preffered choice.

Super quiet, easy to install.
WOW!!! This is easily the best fan for the money I have ever purchased, and I have bought 25 or 30 of them over the years, ranging from Hunter to brands carried by Walmart, Home Depot, and other retailers. This fan is incredibly quiet, well made, and very easy to install. We are still playing with the light color, but just the fact that the color can be adjusted is amazing. The only thing to be aware of is that most homes in the US have a red wire for the light circuit that feeds the junction box, along with copper, black and white. Just put a wire nut on the red wire and push it up into the junction box because it is not needed due to the transformer and remote controls. I had to look that up so I'll share it with you. Anyway, it's an amazing fan at a great price.

Great value and functionality
I'm coming up on about of experience after installing two of these fans in my house. Overall they work really well and are a solid value. The fact they come with two remotes is a huge plus because you can wall mount the box shaped one where your power switch is and then keep the TV style remote on your nightstand, desk, etc. Some positives:1. Installation is really easy. All parts came together nicely with minimal fuss and there is plenty of room within the base of the fan to hold the little control box and and any excess wiring. I wish the control box was just integrated into the unit but at least it's easy to tuck into the base.2. The lighting quality is pretty good and gets really bright. I don't notice any flickering or other issues that'd suggest quality issues with the lighting elements.3. The fan moves a ton of air at full speed while being dead quiet.4. The remotes are individually paired to the fan they came with so you don't need to worry about having multiple copies of this fan in different rooms.Things I wish were better:1. My wall junction box had screw holes 2.75" apart and the minimum distance on the included mounting bracket was just a bit too wide, so I ended up having to run to the hardware store to get an adapter. There is plenty of extra room on the included bracket to have made those mounting slots a bit wider to accommodate 2.75" junction boxes but overall not a big deal.2. The temperature control on the light is a physical switch on the light itself, you can't control it from the remote. If you were hoping to change this often, you'll want to make sure you have a stepladder close by.3. The minimum brightness on the light is still pretty bright. I wish there was more range on the bottom end. If you were hoping to use it as a night light then this isn't the fan for you.4. There are no physical controls for the fan, so the two remotes are your only interface. I can't find spare remotes listed anywhere so make sure you don't lose them.
