BNC to BNC 3G/6G HD SDI Cable, 8 metre, Black, Blue Jeans Cable brand This HD-SDI cable is built with precision video coax which has been sweep-tested to 6 GHz and high-quality 75 ohm crimp-type BNCs. It has an 18 AWG solid copper center conductor and a combination screen consisting of a 100% coverage, two-sided foil layer overlaid by a 95% coverage tinned copper braid for maximum screening effectiveness at all frequencies. Between is a highly consistent nitrogen-foamed HDPE dielectric, providing for the best possible impedance stability. The cable stock is made in the USA to exacting standards; every spool is sweep-tested to 6 GHz to ensure that dimensional control and impedance stability are within tight tolerances, and that return loss is kept to a minimum. The BNCs, likewise, are true broadcast-quality products designed to minimize return loss through the plug body and plug/jack interface. Blue Jeans Cable: Professional Precision Cable Assembly Our cables are assembled in our Seattle workshop by experienced cable assembly workers, using the highest quality precision stripping and crimping equipment. Coax is stripped with precise dimensional control in our Swiss-made Schleuniger coaxial cable strippers, resulting in a shield braid undamaged by stripping and a center conductor of consistent maximum length for full engagement in the BNC pin crimp. Our crimping is done on Schleuniger 3-ton pneumatic presses--not on hand tools that can loosen and result in a weak crimp. The result is a cable which is not only superb in its electrical performance, but is physically robust and stable and will endure frequent handling and flexing.
