Hair feels softer
This Go Ho brand of batana oil is easy to apply but takes a little while to wash out.I don’t know if it’s going to help stop my hair loss or promote hair growth because I’ve only used it for a short time, but it does make my hair feel softer and hence a fuller feelng.I did not smell any fragrance because I have sinus problems but the oil texture feels nice and creamy.I plan on using batana oil as a skin moisturizer this winter. This 4oz jar Is a good value because a little bit goes a long way.

Pretty Good Batana Oil
If you're looking for a natural and affordable product to add to your routine, this Batana oil is definitely worth considering. While it may not be a miracle cure, it offers a range of benefits for hair and skin. Just be prepared for a strong scent and potential greasiness.

Smells like I've been swept away to a Honduran Coffee Plantation! I kind of want to eat this...
This smells like a combination of chocolate, coffee, and toffee. Very delicious smelling. Definitely smells like something I want to eat. It also comes in a decent sized jar.I live in Florida, and it is crazy hot here so it arrived somewhat melted. If it's cold where you are, you will have to warm up little bits in your hand before being able to use.A little dab goes far and it is great for dry hair ends. If you are used to using cocoa butter, shea butter, or coconut oil, this is about the level of greasiness we are talking about. I like it as a hand moisturizer too. Apparently according to what I've read online it can be good for the skin and brittle nails. Kind of seems like an all around good oil to use.I've never heard of batana for hair growth until now, but I believe most likely the way it works is more about keeping your hair healthy, and moisturized to reduce breakage and allow you to grow your hair longer. It's too soon to tell if it actually GROWS hair faster, but if I notice that, I will report back. The ONLY ingredient in this is batana oil. I think using it all over my scalp regularly would make me feel to greasy. That is one of the issues I have with most hair growth oils, I have to be a bit more oily than I want to on a daily basis. However, the instructions on THIS box suggest to use it by massaging into scalp or other affected areas for 2-5 minutes. You as a leave in treatment for overnight. Use once or twice a week and it suggests it is for skin and hair. It does seem like it is versatile and also probably a great ingredient in DIY beauty products.

Like a cream but different. Unique smell
I just heard of Bataan oil so I wanted to try it. It is creamy like. Not necessarily smooth like a lotion but it is also not a wet oil. The smell reminded one family member of coffee. To me it smells like a cross between cocoa butter and cocoa. But only after you get passed the unpleasant scent. So, It is not super pleasant. To another family member it smelled like that natural flavor enhancer. The name has slipped me. I use it on my face with wonderful results. It goes right in without leaving me glossy looking like castor or coconut oil would. It is nourishing. One of my teens used it on her hair roots and it made her feel nauseous. She thinks it was just because of the smell which is so hard to describe. I think she is likely right and I don’t think it was because it had a toxic effect or anything but this is just our experience. (Go Ho Raw Batana Oil for Hair Growth(4.23oz),100% )

Very Hydrating, Use on Skin as In Shower Moisturizer...
I have to be honest, I use this on my skin in the shower as an in shower moisturizer cause I'm too lazy to put lotion on when i get out, so this is great. Scent is not to strong for my use, nutty at first but doesn't linger. Skin is oily right our of shower but soft throughout the day!

If you love the scent of coffee and deep conditioners you may love this
This gets four stars for meeting expectations, for me five stars is something that exceeds my expectations, this meets my expectations which is still very good.As others mentioned, there is a deep warm coffee scent which if you like the scent of coffee you should love. It does dissipate as you use it, however it is pronounced for a while. This comes as a cream which becomes more viscus as it warms up between your hands. Start with less than you think you need and build from there. You can use this just for a leave in pre styling conditioner by using a tiny bit or you can go all in and work this in root to ends with focus on your scalp. This oil is supposed to be good for improving hair growth over time so I can't speak to that, I can say with use my hair feels softer and silkier.

Great hair moisturizer
I put this in my hair and scalp over night. The next day my curls were so moisturized and my hair was shiny. I did not wash it out and instead styled my hair as usual. I cannot contest to hair growth because I haven't used it long enough. However, I am going to do a deep condition with it as well. The smell is very distinct having a bold strong coffee like aroma.
