I have my kitchen decorated àin Red, it all started when I purchased my Red Apple pattern dishes by Franciscan. So I first bought a red toaster, a red microwave, coffee maker, red dish drainer, red plastic wall clock, shaped like an apple, so now I went for the red salt and pepper shakers. They are very nice made of glass, and screw on lid. Immediately I washed them now are both filled and sitting on my counter. They are adorable and hold plenty of salt and pepper. I would certainly recommend these salt and pepper shakers for those who cook a lot or you could hide them in your cupboard, but they are attractive in my Red kitchen. Hole size on salt is large so easy does it. I still am very impressed. Donna
