No good for hard water areas
After 3 weeks of use unit became furred with limescale which we cleaned- few days later limesale appeared on outside body around lid - complained to kitchen aid about seal - they told us to carry on cleaning and use bottled water. Now clean the kettle stands unused .as I have to service it more than my JCB digger. Old 6 year old kettle back in use. Should have kept my money .

Not worth the cost.
That kettle isn't worth the cost. It's flimsy, the base is made of a horrible plastic. It's also noisy. I bought the kettle based on the efficiency and sturdiness of my KitchenAid cake mixer. This kettle is a huge disappointment.

Bought this to replace previous 1.5 capacity. Works well with toaster. Not disappointed

Not happy
The kettle is a huge disappointment.It has a strange smell where the water goes I have tried everything to get rid of it......makes our cup of tea taste awful.I would send it back if I still had the box.Worst 80+ pound I've spent in a longtime.I am using my old kettle again 😂😂😂Not happy with it at all.
