Wonderful
I just love it when I receive something and it turns out to be even better than I expected. This is one of those times. This is a really nice blanket throw, made with quality materials, and I'm very happy with it. It's a good size and has some weight to it, so it's cozy, warm, and comfortable for even two people. The colors are deep and rich, and it seems more expensive than it is. I expect it to last a long time and I think this is a really good value for the price. Five stars.

Large, amazingly soft, super comfortable and machine washable, what else can you ask?
I've owned this blanket for about 3 months now and it is so great we use it daily! We keep it folded on the sofa and it is so soft and comfortable that my kids always grab it and snuggle in it! One side is white Sherpa, and the other side has a grey cloud pattern that is pretty neutral and will blend well with most other colors/environments. It's not super heavy but thick enough that you can use this in the winter, especially since the material feels warm and cozy. This blanket is also pretty large so 2 adults can cosy up under the blanket to watch a movie without issue (not a queen size bed blanket though!). It is machine washable and hasn't lost its softness after a few washing cycles, so I'm very happy with it and recommend it to anyone who wants a soft and comfortable blanket that doesn't break the bank! :)

Nice accent and cozy.
Nice and soft. Perfect for keeping warm on the couch. Snags easy though. Not super thick. Hand wash in or delicate cycle in washing machine and dry on low. Good price for the quality.

Light but chunky and so very soft!
I had been wanting one of these chunky knit blankets but had not got around to learning to knit so when seeing this I got a little excited. Unlike some reviews of have high expectations I had quite the contrary. Usually when buying a “handmade” item that made its way to being sold at a big box company they always seem to fall short on quality. I was actually surprised to find that this was not the case with this blanket! It was well packaged and it was so soft and the gray color was perfect. Even with this I was not convinced..I was sure it would be snagged, pulled apart, or fall apart after washing..especially with my kids but none of that has yet to happen. This truly looks like your grandma spent many afternoons knitting away. I think most will agree and truly enjoy or become the best gift giver ever!

Beautiful chunky knit blanket
This is a really nice, soft blanket. It's not fuzzy, which is great because it doesn't shed, but it is also definitely not scratchy or too sheen-y. It's a smooth yarn with a cotton feel. It has a nice chunky weave, which means you can totally poke toes through it, so if you have kids this will probably eventually get stretched out. But with some care you can keep it in good condition by fixing any stretches when they occur. The color is a lovely grey that matches a lot and looks really cozy. It's a good size for one person to really cuddle up in, or for two people to lay over them. A lot of chunky knits like these are REALLY expensive. Double this, at least. This is a really good price for a nice looking and nice feeling product.

Not as soft as you think it will be
This blanket is pretty, and heavy, which makes for a cozy hug-like snooze. But - it is a little scratchy! I was expecting that velvet-like fuzzy microfiber stuff, but it is an acrylic knit that isn't anywhere as soft as the acrylic yarn you can get at the craft store. Due to its chunkiness, it is hard to drape around your shoulders - it's better to have on your lap. It can also get snagged on stuff due to the large knitted loops, but that is the nature of knit. It's pretty, but I just don't think it's soft enough.

Give it a try
Okay, I have to be honest, I wasn't so sure about this when I first opened it. I kind of felt letdown and didn't know if we'd end up keeping it. The reason for that was that, although I honestly really liked the pattern and colors, I initially thought the texture felt cheap, almost like cheap yarn. Now, usually first impressions are right, and it ended us in our blanket basket for a week or two unused.Fast-forward to when I pulled it out again, and I draped it over one of our chairs while redecorating the area. Different people in our house, and even family coming over, have been picking it up and using it. It is now one of our most used living room blankets, and my youngest child has started sleeping with it at night! It has turned out to be very soft and comfortable. A little lightweight but not overly so. It is definitely a synthetic fiber, and I haven't sent it through the wash yet, but I have to say that this little blanket has happily surprised me and added a nice element of comfort to our home.

Mixed emotions
I have made quite a few of these chunky hand knit blankets. So many in fact, that I would rather order one for myself then sit down and make it. Honestly, for the price of yarn anymore, you're actually coming out cheaper buying premade. When I first saw it I was pretty disappointed. They yarn was just ehhh. It looked like cheap yarn to me and it didn't feel all that great. I washed it per directions and that made it better. It still is nowhere near as soft or pretty as a chunky blanket you might make. Most of my throws were pretty old so I loaded them up and took them to the animal shelter. I am replacing them, but I'm only going to keep couple. I had way too many before and they don't all get used. Seeing that I'll only have a couple, I want them to be nice. I don't know if I'll keep this one. It snags easily and again, it's just not that pretty IMO.
