The quality and picture are awesome! So glad I decided to go with this brand. The price was competitive.

Easy to setup plugged into wall outlet and put HDMI cable into laptop turned on monitor and boom link to my Dell laptop within seconds. Color, Clarity and Quality and functionality perfect.

I am amending my review. Since I was happy with the monitor before it failed, as I thought it worked great for the price. It became a paperweight after 3mos time. I found the issue though was the plug. Which is why it was not ideal, but once fixed has been working great again and no issues as yet. What is even more important was the response from Sansui. They offered me to replace the monitor...without any questions, and reach out to me via email. However I did not reply immediately and got one of my old plugs from somewhere and tried it out and it is working great. So great customer support and I assume a one off issue, unless others have noted the same where it stops working. For now, I would consider them again - assuming it continues as is.== Original Review ===I'm actually kidding about fade to black. It simply stopped turning on just after 3 mos. No power whatsoever. I went through a whole routine, thinking it was an issue with the cord, or the HDMI table or the laptop, which slot I plugged into, and for the first couple of days when it would not start, some of those had some results and it would power up. Well, by end of the week, it simply no longer powered up at all. I agree with others that it is cheaply made, but a good price and worked well for the first 3 mos. The screen quality was easily adjusted and outside of its a usually lightweight paperweight now, I have no other complaints. Ideally they should offer some support after 3 mos for how to fix this, since I would at very least expect it to last for 6mos before this level of failure, and ideally a year or 3. I tend to think it takes just as much effort and quality control to make these solutions last longer than it does to plan this type of fast failure after just 3 mos.AMENDING REVIEW - The issue seems to be with the power cord - and with more fiddling I was able to get it started up again - but will definitely not purchase again

Needed a replacement for my old 1080p panel that was like 8+ years old and it finally died. It’s an excellent panel, very good color. Side by side my dell 1080p curved Gsync monitor, I honestly prefer the way this one looks. The only downside, is that if you are planning on vesa mounting this in a 2 monitor setup with a different brand or make panel and a fixed VESA mount , the vesa mount screws are in a toward the top of the monitor leaving the 2 screens at 2 different heights. If you have individual adjustable arms this is not an issue. But overall for quality, Five stars all day.

Picture quality is good. The refresh rate is good as well. Only a small bit of motion blur is there but it is much better than several others we have tried. We had a few minor issues. The stand is not adjustable so we contacted the company to see if they had another one available with they did not but said it should be compatible with any vesa stand. We also had an another issue. My son has 3 monitors hooked up and he replaced one of the monitors with this one. Every time he would turn this one off it would move files he had on the second monitor to the third monitor when he turned this one back on. The company was very prompt in their attempts to help us figure out this issue. Was very impressed with the quick responses. My son finally figured out the problem and was able to fix it. Would recommend for the price and quality.

This is a great monitor especially if you're considering upgrading from a 60 hz without overspending. Great refresh rate and decent stand. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have built in speakers, but there is a neat audio jack you can connect your headphones to.Keep in mind the Power Cable doesn't go all the way in, but the monitor still turns on like normalAlso it has free sync compatibility
