Ya know these are a hoot! I'm immune compromised & try to keep my house as non-toxic as possible. I saw these filters come by me, researched them to death & decided on these based on the reviews. I read the reviews like crazy. Anyhow, noon could figure if they really worked bc they just sit there. The instructions speak about an on/off button which i still don't understand about it. If i push it one way a nice blue light comes on; push the other way - it goes off. I leave it on bc it makes me think its working. It makes no noise, does nothing, & show no proof that it's working. The other reviews eluded to this also. One fellow said "...I'll keep it on, and see what happens & return it within the time if I see no difference...". I said that's a great idea - i'll do that too (thank you, fella). Well - it really does seem to make a difference and seem to be working. How can i tell: the dust is noticeably less & when i cook i no longer have to open the screen & put the ceiling fan on - actually i'm better not doing that - it does take a good part of the cooking smell out of the condo. That did not happen before. I don't know how i will know when it stops working - i should probably write & ask someone. I figure if i see too much dust - maybe its time!! Go figure - I'm LOVIN these ! I have a small place and one in each room & that seem to be fine! My mantra: "So far, so good!" hahaha Give them a try - they're a hoot - mysterious...

Does not work I didn’t see any difference in the air quality.However, l am changing the rating, because of excellent customer service. They reached out to me after my review, and gave me a refund, which I did not expect since I had the product for a while.

My husband finally realized why he was coughing so much every morning when he was sitting in his chair having coffee and checking his emails. This item was plugged in right behind his chair and I had not idea it was causing his cough until I finally unplugged this item after many months and put it in the garage to see if it was the cause for his cough.The next day my husband sat in his chair and no cough and from then on he did not cough anymore. I was shocked ! ! !I don't like to give bad reviews however I do not want anyone else to experience the same and then hopefully not everyone will.

Good for small bathroom or food pantry but to small for small bedroom.

I have one in every room. I haven't notice an increase in electricity , that's good. I live in a cool area where mildew is a problem; this helps with that and dust on a small scale , because they're not the heavy duty kind, but it helps. It's affordable and portable. I feel it's worth its price.
