Took a little time, but saved me $100 getting new fobs cut.
These shells worked great for me! It took me about an hour to do 2 keys and winding the spring so the key pops out was a little tough on the 1st one, but piece of cake on the 2nd one. This was a big dollar savings to take apart the old keys and use the motherboard and the “already cut” key. I’d do this again in a heartbeat! Thank you!!

Finicky garbage
Does not have the same lip that holds the battery in place as the OEM key. Practically useless unless battery is held down into key, or rigged up somehow.

Good quality, but not exactly like OEM
Overall happy with this. I had read that the tolerances were not the same as OEM. I did find that to be the case. The OEM hinge did not work in the new case. (I tried it. It would not function.) I needed to drive out the pin from the key, move the key blade to the new hinge, and drive the pin back in. It might deserve 4-5 stars, but for the time I spent getting it assembled.

It's a decent alternative
So, I pretty much tore up my old remote (the buttons were caving in due to wear and tear) to get to the circuit board and put it in the new key fob shell along with the key. The only thing is my key doesn't swing out with the press of the button because I couldn't get it right. It's a small sacrifice, since I have push start and will most likely never use the key. If I do, I'll just have to use my finger to pull it out.

Missing a key piece..
Literally. The screw used to hold the case together was not included. The case came partially disassembled. Most people don't have a bunch of tiny screws lying around the house. This should've been in the listing.

Key requires cutting
Excellent option for restoring original 2013 Chevy Sonic key fob with disintegrated key pad. Slight difficulty assembling for first time, but succeeded. Easily transferred original circuit board to new. Key requires cutting at dealership ($25). Works perfect!

No instructions or link to them
No instructions, key doesn't lock down as it should after watching u tube for instructions. Could be soo much better
