I got this water bottle for my daughter to use at school, but don’t think it’s the best choice for being transported in a book bag. Although it is waterproof the button is so easy to activate I would be afraid it would accidentally open. It has a wide spout and is gravity fed, so could completely empty pretty quick. I actually like the wide spout. I like that you can get ice through the hole and also prefer it for cleanliness. Even with the straw brushes I question if you are getting all the grime and bacteria out of some of the more complex water bottle tops. This is very easy to clean and I feel confident there is no hiding mold. The bottom with the lights and batteries unscrews from the bottom for washing. It is the most convenient lighted cup I’ve had so far. It has a carrying strap, that makes it very convenient for small hands. The light up aspect is really nice. The whole cup glows and there are 7 different colors to choose from. It really accents the mermaid scene and gives it a magical look. My daughter loves it! It doesn’t hold ice as well as the double walled stainless water bottles, but it is also not priced like it does. For the price I think it is a very nice bottle and sure to please your little mermaid!

Plastic looks thin and cheap. Worst part is I ordered the mermaid design because my daughter like it, the one that came was mermaid but looks like cartoon kid mermaid. Looks so tacky!

This cup is pretty neat. I love the mermaid and undersea design on it. I also love that you can choose a solid color or you can do fade mode which slowly rotates through all the colors. It takes 3 batteries so if your child leaves it on all the time you could end up spending a bunch of money in batteries. The lid is dishwasher safe but the bottom part is not, hand wash only because it contains the batteries. I feel like they could have done a better job of sealing the batteries in the lid but instead it’s just like any toy, a simple screw holds on the cover. It’s just a hole to drink from so it’s nice you don’t have to mess with cleaning a straw but also makes it not great for younger kids. But it’s very cute, unique, and kids love it. I also love that it’s BPA free & eco-friendly.
