Great little sketch pads
I've bought 4 lots of these so far as I have found them to be really good sketch books at a good value.I like the fact that they are spiral bound portrait watercolour with plenty of sheets.Ideal for travel sketching due to A5 size and easy to work with due to the spiral binding. The paper takes a variety of mixed media without bleeding through so the whole pad can be utilised (as opposed to one side of the paper) making it a great sketch pad for developing ideas and concepts. One side of the paper is textured and the other smooth.

Handy sized sketch books with the added bonus to use with watercolours.
Slightly bigger than I anticipated but that’s probably my fault for not checking size. I wanted a versatile sketch book to pop in my bag these are too big for that, unless I buy a bigger bag! Ha haThere are plenty of pages, very good quality for the price, and I love the ring binder, easier to turn pages. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to be out and about practicing their artwork.

Dry not wet
If you like a slightly textured paper you'll like these pads. I got these to make up a small, portable "field kit" for water-colour work outside, and are a reasonable size. One word of caution, however. they are listed as a 300gm paper, and certainly feel heavy enough, but if you use a 'wet' wash, they do have a tendency to curve quite significantly, but, as the wash dries, they lose most, but not quite all, of the curvature; not a problem if you mount your finished work. Used with a 'dryer' brush, however, the paper is great, and of course no problems with pencils. All in all, very satisfactory for the use for which they were purchased, and yes, I will buy again, so buy, use. and enjoy.

I love the quality of the paper. Haven't had any issues with it so far and I used up almost two of them fully. Definitely worth your time.

Great travel pads!
I bought these to be able to paint on the go and for when I travel to visit my familyThese are great little watercolor pads that work with my Cotman set beautifullyWould recommend holding the pages down with some clips in order to stop the paper from creating waves. So far I had no issues with colour seeping through even when I used lots and lots of waterThe colours also work well together on the paper.Overall I can definitely recommend these pads! For the price they are a great deal for what you get.

Very happy, excellent, easily worth the price!
I got these to have as sketchbooks whilst finding my way in watercolour. It is amazing paper, especially for the price, now have th A4 versions, too. It copes brilliantly with repeated washes, esay with lifting and is not at all chalky. If you plan to have very wet paper, all it needs is a couple of clips, or washi tape to stay flat, but curls rather than buckles, which I have found to be great for graded sunset washes. Sturdy paper, a very good choice, shall be back for more.

Paper is cream not white.
I can’t comment on the quality of the paper but I wanted white paper which it looks like in the listing photos. But it is cream. Sent back for a refund.

Second purchase!
I bought a pack of two originally for my nephew. But this brand has great quality watercolor paper for an amazing price I just needed to buy more. I looked for a less expensive brand, and from what I've read and have seen this brand is just as great as any of the other more expensive brands. This time, I got a three pack of notebooks that are 5.5 by 8.5 in dimension. It's the perfect traveling size to slide into a Childs book-bag or the perfect size for a watercolor sketchbook. I like that it's a three pack because then I don't feel like I'm wasting money and my nephew gets a lot of quality paper to practice new techniques or to express himself. Each booklet has 30 pages, which is more than enough but in total there are 90. These papers are textured, durable for paint/watercolor which Is what I bought for my nephew personally. The paper is thick so it does dry well and takes in color very nicely. We hang his drawings up in our kitchen, we have a designated wall for them and I haven't noticed any fading or changes in color due to sunlight exposure which is great in case we keep them for memories in the future.Overall, Arteza is the best quality watercolor notebook especially within this price range. Not to mention you get a pack of three. It has been great to use for all kinds of artistic tools, watercolor, crayons, sketching etc and I know that my nephew really appreciates a good notebook to work on. :)

Good value.
Pretty good sturdy paper quality. Good to do quick watercolour sketches. Easy sketchbook to work with and no worries about previous pages ripping out by accident. Expect some warping with a heavy use watercolour. There are watercolour sketchbooks with thicker paper but they’ll be significantly more expensive but for quick plein air or idea sketching, these are good.
