Schwinn Vega CE Hybrid Bike

After 5 rides so far I’m very happy with my purchase. I assembled it quite easily and have been exploring with it. It’s quite big in size but it’s a bike. It’s perfect for trails or city living.

Showed up with broken front fork making it impossible to install the front wheel. Spent 20 minutes on hold waiting for Schwinns customer service, then they sent a new fork no instructions on how to actually change it out😂Managed to get the broken one out but a piece of the headset was stuck to it and could not be freed. Spent another 10minutes on hood this time. Then was told I could take to a bike shop to get fixed and submit my receipt so they could determine if they’d reimburse as warranty😂So they shipped me a broken bike and now it’s my problem to jump through all these hoops just get a working bike?Shame cause it seemed like it would be a decent bike for cruising around on.

Much more comfortable riding position than traditional mountain bike for on road and gentle off road riding, tires are great. Good looking bike with great features, love the twist shifter.

The bike looks great but one of the fenders has a big dent. Needs better packaging.

I’m on my second unit and have already scheduled a return. The first one arrived with the package completely damaged and the bike inside looking like it had been previously opened. After receiving the second one, the package was even more damaged and whatever impact it had sustained damaged the rear of the bike, resulting in the wheel not spinning properly and the gear shifter being broken. after spending some time trying to adjust it, the wheel ended being fine, but it’s still difficult to shift gears. When riding, you can hear the chain scraping against adjacent gears. Really wanted to love this bike given the looks and it being a newer model, but I’m hesitant to order a second replacement. Given the situation, however, it seems the blame is on the delivery process because the bikes seemed to be well packaged, but the box ends up battered by the time it arrives.

Very sturdy and strong yet very light. The Perfect hybrid. Best combination of cruiser, mountain and BMX. Bike came with some damage but amazon rectified the situation immediately. This is without a shadow of a doubt my favorite bike ever

I can't believe how quickly and conveniently this was shipped in such a small box. After taking it out of the box and assembling it, which took roughly 30 minutes, I was ready for a ride. The bike is surprisingly smooth and shock absorbant. This really holds up to Schwinn's quality reputation. 8 speeds is perfect for this cruiser, and it will allow me to ride something slowly with my spouse. The enormous tires make me confident and comfortable when riding any terrain. And the wheel guards... they stop any debris or water from shooting back up into my face. This bike will be a daily ride, changing my normal workout from walking around the neighborhood! I highly recommend going into your local biking store to see how it feels first hand before purchasing (though I did not and I am pleasantly surprised by the comfort level.All in all, this is a win, and an excellent bike.

As the title says not worth it at all. The bike had both fender dented and the wheels wasn’t able to fit. I was worried this was going to be the case but I was hopeful for Schwinn. Never buy a bike from Amazon.
