I've bought 2 now. One for work and one for casual out and about. Comes bent, which I like and nice rugged feel similar to carhart. If I could change one thing, then it be the snap band color on the chestnut. It'd look better with black, but it's a lighter brown almost tan color. Most importantly though, it fits great.

Bought 2 of these, one in chestnut and the other in gray. Quality materials and fits just right. I was able to get them when they were on sale so it was a great bargain. But even full price i would say that these caps are well worth it, looks to be well built and should last a long time. I'm thinking of getting the black olive color. I bought the ones with the patch logo design, very happy with them.

Sent the wrong color, but ill keep it i guess. It fits good, but i wish it was velcro for better fitting. Its almost too tight and or too loose. If i buy the color i originally wanted will it be right?

I have been looking for a new hat for what seems like an eternity. I really wanted something that wasn't a team hat, but still looked good. Far too many “fashion hats” are cheap and flimsy, made of paper thin material that doesn't hold its shape and gets those "salty" sweat stains after just a few uses. I was also hoping to find something that didn't draw a lot of attention, but still had a cool logo/design.As soon as I saw this hat from Wolverine outdoors, I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. I have a backpack cooler from them that is exceptionally well made, so I was hopeful that the hat may be as well. That confidence was well placed. This hat is constructed from a thick cotton twill and the bill is substantial but easily shapable. Although the material is on the heavier side, it will still breath and stay comfortable because it's cotton. A wool hat would stand up to inclement weather a bit better, but would also be much hotter in the summer (unbearably so in the deep south, where I am).This is a standard baseball cap rather than a "dad hat", so it has a more structured overall look and is slightly less "laid back." On the other hand, it is also easier to dress up. The Black Olive color is right up my alley, somewhere between brown and olive drab, with a chestnut embroidered brand name and logo. Speaking of the logo, this is dead-on exactly what I was hoping to find: It looks sleek and cool, but isn't something that most people immediately recognize. Awesome! The workmanship is excellent as well, with double-stitching, re-enforcements, and direct embroidery. The snapback is made from a durable plastic that shouldn't give you any hassle either, no matter how many times you resize it.While my initial attempts at finding a satisfactory non-team hat did not have much success, they did help me figure out exactly what I was looking for, which eventually led me to this cap. It's well made, looks great yet isn't flashy, and is very reasonably priced at under $20. This is genuinely the perfect hat for me and I would absolutely recommend picking one up without hesitation.

I was in need of a new hat and when presented with the opportunity, I decided I would give this one a shot. I'm familiar with Wolverine as a brand, I have a couple pairs of their boots (very well made boots, too) so I wasn't too surprised when the hat showed up to find that it is a very well made snap back hat. I thought all the colors looked nice but I went with chestnut and I am very happy with it. It looks even better in person. The logo and name on the front are quite subtle in comparison to most hat logos which I very much appreciate. It looks nice, fairly stylish, but it doesn't stand out too much.The construction seems good with no loose stitching, it's the classic six panel design and the material (heavy-duty cotton canvas) does, indeed, feel pretty heavy duty. The brim is pre-curved but is easily shaped to your own style. My old snap back lasted me several years before I decided to retire it, and that hat is much lighter weight material so I expect this one may last quite a bit longer. The one drawback you might find is that the material may be a little warm in some climates. I live in the PNW where it doesn't get overly hot so I find it perfect for here.Overall, this seems to be a very well made hat which I expect to last me for many years. Wolverine makes a quality product and their hats are no exception.
