Many people are saying they can't open these pens, try unscrewing the pen the opposite of how you would normally unscrew pen top, it works. The pens are great, easy to use, even ink distribution, holds quite a bit of liquid.

I saw an artist using fat felt tip "paint pens" from an expensive brand...and so when I saw these I thought, great I can do the same thing with the paints I already own. I love them, but it was extremely hard to get them open in order to fill them with my paints. I guess that's also a plus as they do not leak, but now that they are being used, I am sure it will be even harder to open them up and refill without much wrestling and making a huge mess.

Could not open the containers and was quite frustrated until I read a review telling me to unscrew it in the opposite direction!!! It worked. Once I managed to get it open, the product worked fine. I found it to be very usable.
