Fortunately I ignored the addage of never judging a book by it's cover and bought "Holy Island" whilst there on holiday. Although very different from my usual choice of reading I'm addicted to this series of books. They are easy to read and the cast of characters and landscapes draw you in to a rollercoaster of emotions, smiles and laughter, dread and fear and even the odd tear. Just finished book 17, can't wait to start the next adventure. These books are made to be enjoyed- go for it.
