Literally fast boot plug and play. Love this android box. Streaming capability and picture quality are both top notch with the ability to download and install multiple streaming apps. Great sound and emits little to no heat.

The media could not be loaded. I’m extremely disappointed and honestly furious.I bought this TV box with a remote, and it does NOT work properly — and here’s why:1. The box arrived already opened, which is completely unacceptable for something sold as new.2. When I plugged it in, it booted straight to the menu — no setup screen, no Wi-Fi request, no initial setup. This clearly means it was used or returned by someone else.3. The remote doesn’t work at all — the box doesn’t respond to arrow keys, apps don’t open, and it constantly freezes.4. I tried using my old remote, which worked with other devices — the box recognized it, but the arrow keys still barely function, and everything is glitchy.5. Chrome won’t open, Google Play is completely gone, and I never deleted anything.I wasted several hours trying to charge, pair, and reconnect the remote. I waited for this device, was excited to use it, and now I’m just angry and frustrated.This was a complete waste of time and money.

This was a replacement for an older outdated android box and works very well.

Thir review is NOT about this box.what is amazon doing.tas you read on you see im talking about another box that has 6 gigs of ram.amazon has reviews about other products in the wrong place.this does nothing to help people or scamazon ve had for years with no problembut this box with.6gigs ram worked but had other problems like buffering when trying to get into google app store also propryatary app store is empty.volume at MAX when booting up.i feel guilty having to try a couple of these and sending them back because of glitches or defects.i would REALLY like to buy one and be done.i bought another one for cheaper when i got this one that has 4gigs ram 64mem thats working.but its ram is not as fast.but the other features are working for now.i guess some have bugs.IDK

The SlingTV Android app from the Google Play Store installs buy just gives a blank screen like on our other Android TV streaming boxes. Same thing happens on our Samsung SmartTV running the Samsung TV SlingTV app. I chatted online with a rep from SlingTV but he could not give me tell me if or when someone would get back to me from Sling. I won't be renewing my subscription at the end of January. This box works well other than the SlingTV app which is a problem everywhere for me.

I cut the cord a while back and have had a couple of these type of boxes already. I update them with a new one every few years and this one is the best yet. My viewing needs are simple so other than the minimal price for the box and my broadband connection, I haven't paid a dime for streaming services in years. Loading apps and configuration was a breeze, I had duplicated the capabilities of my old box in an hour and the new box was more dependable. I look to get a few years out of this box.

I've been messing with this for several weeks and I'm finally giving up. I wanted this to stream media from my NAS, which I use to stream media to literally every device in my house. But this box refuses to mount the NAS, which makes it essentially worthless. I can connect to the NAS using CX File Explorer, but that doesn't really do me any good. The media player app won't add it add it. There's other issues as well, I could handle those if only the function that I got it for would do what it's supposed to. A waste of money if you want to stream from a network device. Look elsewhere.
