We have recently started using food waste bins in our area and sometimes using a spoon to squeeze the teabag out is not quite enough and made the compostable bag wet, plus can get burnt fingers! This really does strain well, although there is a knack to actually catch the teabag in the cup!

The item is exactly as described and works a treat on removing, squeezing out tea bags, saves hot fingers and tea stains.

Well it is easy to use, great for teabags and very easy to clean

The only thing is, once you have squeezed the teabag, it still 'sticks' to the strainer so you still have to use your fingers to take it and put it in the bin.

The previous good quality tea bag squeezers I have purchased on Amazon no longer appear to be available so I chose this one.The steel is not at all springy and has a tendency to stay “squeezed” when you apply enough pressure to squeeze a tea bag. This means that you have to bend it open slightly to use it again.Whilst it is just about adequate at it’s job I doubt it will last very long as the constant re bending will not doubt induce metal fatigue.Very disappointing quality especially as it was no where near the cheapest on offer.

Very robust although a little stiff to open and squeeze, but still performs adequately. Very robust and dishwasher safe. It’s strong construction makes it feel like it will last. Delivered on time and in good condition.

Great little gadget for teabag lovers! Easy to use and it enable the tea flavour to come through by squeezing the bag completely. Much better than using a spoon!
