A good book but I got the feeling that I'd got a lot of the photos in other books already.I do have a lot of armour books though so probably to be expected.Still a very enjoyable book though

Nettes kleines Büchleich mit sehr guten Fotos, diese aber eher klein. Der Text ist eine einfach gehaltene Einführung in die Themen Rüstungen, Waffen, Jagd, Turniere.Die Texte sind einfach gehalten und teils oberflächlich. Das Heft ist eher für den Neuling im Thema, Leute mit Bücherbestand können sich das Heft eigentlich Sparen. Die Fotos sind toll, dass muss man sagen.

I really love this book. It is the perfect introductory book on armor. It is full of interesting facts and is beautifully illustrated throughout. If you are interested in medieval armor or medieval history than I would certainly purchase this book.

No se trata de un libro exhaustivo sobre el armamento de la Baja Edad Media, pero este volumen presenta una perfecta introducción al tema, tanto para aficionados como para estudiosos. Profusamente ilustrado, contiene además un glosario y bibliografía complementaria.

A well-written book that makes a much-covered subject approachable and appealing to someone new to or only vaguely familiar with the subject matter. The only downside is the print quality; it made already dim photos dull.
