BBQ Must Have
Made some Turkish lamb koftes for BBQ and the skewers were superb. These are nice and wide and held the meat perfectly and it cooked evenly and was delicious. A very good purchase. Also will last for ever.

Good quality, ideally would be longer
Very good quality, robust and wide enough. They wouild do with being a bit longer because handle takes a fair chunk of the usable surface. For those who use wooden sticks worthwhile to mention that metal gets hot and cooks meat inside, which makes BBQ quicker and prevents food poisoning.

3/8-inch is 0.95 cm in width. Perfect for chunky dices of meat for that Kebab shop result. Nice and long, can squeeze on an entire large breast of diced chicken on just one. Handles stay quite cool if not directly over the heat, otherwise use a glove.If you're torn between these or getting the thicker set of 4, think about what you want them for. These (3/8) are great for dices of meats/veg and the thicker ones would be better for wrapping mince lamb around (known as 'Kofte' to us in the UK).

Skewers
These are excellent man skewers. Tough and rugged and the food does not spin on them like the cheap type skewers.Definitely worth the investment.

Perfect!
I recently bought a home made tandoori oven made out of a dustbin (as shown on Jamie & Jimmy's Friday Night Feast, C4 tv show) I wanted flat skewers that would hold the meat in place and not slide off, I searched through all the skewers that were for sale on Amazon when I came across these..As you can see by my picture, they're just what I wanted! I genuinely can't recommend them enough, I've used them half a dozen times now and they're doing the job perfectly each time, no issues whatsoever..10 out of 10..Update.. 12th November 2016..I've used them 5 or 6 times since writing my review, and they're still perfect!

Skewers
These skewers are great however your BBQ rack needs to be at a flush level where it is easy to turn the skewer. Our BBQ rack slightly slopes so the meat at the end cooked quicker than the meat at the top of the skewer. So if you are more organised than us or have a better BBQ go for these skewers.

excellent product
after a long time, I found these lovely skewers, easy to clean.... they are ideal for homemade kebabs.... the meat cooks from inside also.... its worth buying, i am really happy with the product.

really solid sticks -Ii have used them as normal kebab sticks on my Big Green Egg (but really I should have bought a slightly smaller size/...I may shorten some of these).The main use I have is for spatchcock chicken as two crossed keeps everything in placeWhen using as kebabs with chicken they are easy to turn and the chicken stays in place
