Originally had bought for my dog because he loves to bury himself under the blankets to sleep. Well because it’s been hot he wasn’t able to do that so I bought him this blanket. I was iffy about it but omg it’s been the best purchase this year. Yes my dog sleeps on it but on the warmer side. It’s too cold for him. I however use it a lot and take it anywhere. I took it fishing over the weekend just in case it was too hot, I could use it to cool down. It was cold so I still used it lol

I was 100% skeptical about this product and others like it but finally took a chance. Honestly if you get hot while sleeping or are in a home with sub par air this blanket is amazing. Buyer beware it is thinner than it looks or even feels for that matter. So I have window unit AC and run a fan by it to push air into my bedroom. I actually had to turn my fan from the normal high down to medium because my toes were getting cold for a change lol. Main thing to understand is the fabric is highly breathable and you will feel air from outside the covers in some cases. But it is also a thin blanket and not like a regular comforter or weighted blanket etc so if you need weight on you to sleep this will not be your jam.

When used as designed (stripes facing up) I still sweat at night. Flip it over so stripes are down, now you're talking. It's COLD! In the winter I might use the "fuzzy" side. In these hot az summers, the stripes are getting the job done. I stay cool all night long.

For what it's supposed to do, this blanket seems to hit the right effects. It is covering, cooling, and has a good feel. I did find that the surface texture feels like it'll be prone to snags, as it catches on rough skin. We are going to be extra careful not to get a snag, but it otherwise works like it should.It does have some weight to it, but it does seem to help keep cooler.

I would give it 5 stars if it stayed cool ALL NIGHT LONG, but eventually it does warm up. Honestly 4.5/5 stars would be more accurate. I'm in my third trimester of pregnancy and VERY warm and prone to terrible hot flashes. But, I still get cold after a while at night so it's a lose-lose situation. Couple this lovely blanket with some fans at night or during the day and it does feel nice. It's cooling, but also not too chilly. If you are the kind of person who hates being hot but "needs" a blanket for sensory reasons or whatever, this is a must have.
