CALT 8mm Shaft Optical Encoder Kit Parts AB Phases Voltage Output 1000P/R with Side Cable

I'm using these with a pair of gearmotors to build a robot leg and the encoders worked right out of the box with our motor driver board. The 1000 pulse/rev gives plenty of accuracy for our use case, especially with a geared reduction. The code wheel does feel a little fragile, but is should be protected by the enclosure when installed. The mounting options for the enclosure are a bit limited and may require adaption to your specific motor. Overall, the price of these encoders is very impressive, considering it includes the sensor, code wheel, and enclosure.

the product is not as described, there are 4 channels but 2 ....!As you can see, the first picture is as advertised, in the second one I received ...! (note the difference in the number of wires and the optical reader ...!)
