Essential Elements 2000 for Strings - Book 2: Violin

Good book

love the way it's set out and the cd is easy to find my way around. I can pop in and out of the bits I need more practice on and give myself a pat on the back when I know I've succeeded at something. It's the type of tool that I can keep by my side and use for the rest of my playing life.

I bought this book along with book 1. It is set out in much the same way as book 1, being easy to work through with exercises introduced to the user gradually, and the addition of the accompanying tracks on CD. In terms of 'value for money', I can't fault either book and would highly recommend them.

My 10 year old only started 3 weeks ago and thoroughly enjoy learning the violin with the book. She's been learning to play the violin for alomst a year now. But this book really motivates her more. I would reccommend Essential Elements 2000 For Strings to friends.

Essential Elements 2000 per violino (Book one & two) sono un' ottima guida per chi si è da poco avvicinato allo studio del violino. Gli esercizi sono progressivi e danno spazio e tempo per imparare anche agli alunni un pochino più lenti nell'apprendimento. E' ricco di informazioni teoriche molto sintetiche ma chiare, le quali vengono messe subito in pratica attraverso esercizi mirati. Ottimo strumento per quegli insegnanti che si vogliono staccare dalla vecchia didattica. Bella anche la copertina e l'impostazione interna, peccato non vi sia una versione in lingua italiana.
