Q: Is there anything you SHOULDN'T use it on? I am thinking of using it to apply a patch to a gore-tex waterproof jacket

i can imagine that surfaces need to be relatively stable, otherwise the rubber will come off. I use it for example on a crack on the rubber gasket of swimming googles - a solid material that flexes. Works very well, but needs renewing every 6 months.

Q: Bison Liquid Rubber - what is its colour? - once cured, can it be used as a shoe heel in contact with walking surface? - does it set fairly hard?

I was looking for the same as my heels are slippery🙈 did you find anything?

Q: Has anyone used it to repair leaking golf shoes? If so, did it work?

I've used it to re-seal the welt between the sole and upper on a pair of Mephisto shoes. The second attempt seems to have worked well albeit, there are rubber stains visible. I would say that for the price of a tube of liquid rubber, give it a go.

Q: What colour does it cure to? Can it be used on a car tyre to cover minor imperfection?

It cures to clear. I wouldn't put solvent glues on tyres, if it's a minor imperfection I'd leave it or get it checked by a tyre professional. 5,000 lives are lost across Europe each year due to badly maintained tyres!
