Weather and the temperature
Weather and the temperature, I like to watch the Storm Glass Barometer and how the air pressure changes. Currently is deep low pressure over UK starting to move way with heavy rain and thunderstorms. I followed in instructions to add food colouring red to see. Galileo Thermometer is interesting, the floating bulb.

Fahrenheit ruined this!
Was really disappointed to open the box to see the temperatures in Fahrenheit. Unless you live in the USA or were born in the ice age, this is useless.If you're happy with outdated measurements, or just want this for decoration, it's great. The thermometer seems well built and the base makes it more secure.I sent mine back as it's of no use to me and will replace with a modern one.

Description doesn’t mention that’s it’s in Fahrenheit, not Celsius. A rather important bit of information considering most people don’t use Fahrenheit.
