This is a helpful item as I am getting to an age where getting my shoes off is problemati. This device works fine for my hightop shoes, the brush helps me keep the soles cleaner and the handy 10-12-in shoehorn has come in handy too.

At my age, bending down to use my hands to remove my shoes is not my preferred method. I use the toe of the shoe or my toes to force down the heal on the other shoe. As expected, after some time doing this, I have ripped off the heal from the shoe itself. When I saw this product, I knew that this was the solution. From the picture above, it is wide enough to handle my size 13 shoes. I try to place my shoe a little lower in the boot jack. My shoes come off quite easily. I do not have to bend over, so I am quite happy. I have not had a reason to use the brush and scraper feature. The boot jack comes with a shoehorn. I find it a little to short to use so I have kept using my much longer plastic shoehorn. As this is the only negative aspect for me, I rate this product with four stars and do recommend it.

This item had great reviews so I decided to go with it. First time I used it it worked ok but I heard a crunch. The very next time I tried using it, it completely broke. Spend a little more Money and get a stronger one. This won’t last

TLDR: Great boot jack and shoe horn combo to help get your shoes on/off without messing them up.We recently moved and in the process I lost my metal 18inch shoe horn. Love that thing, but needed something for the time being until it turns up again. I didn’t want to heavily invest in another nice metal one as mine is simply in a box somewhere, so I got this wooden one to try out. I’m happy I did because I didn’t realize I needed a boot jack in my life! Our move took us out to the countryside and having this set up in the mud room has saved my floors and carpet from a bunch of dirt and such. While my wife is a little worried to try the shoe horn (she’s worried about splinters even though the wood is polished and smooth as can be), she has enjoyed the boot jack and how much it helps her back out to be able to take her boots off much easier now. Overall, I’m happy with both items and will continue to use them even when I find my metal shoe horn.

I really needed a shoe horn so when I found this I thought it might be even better. The horn works nicely and my socked foot slides down the smooth wood without splinters or trouble. The other piece is supposed to assist in taking your shoes off and cleaning for off the sides. I haven't found the shoe removing part too helpful but the brushes did greatly assist me after I stepped in a puppy bomb. I wish the rubber grip piece was more cleaning area because that would have been really helpful. It's all really well constructed and does what it says it does.
