Do not buy for young children.
Just don't waste your time.1. The small end of the antenna can come off and is a choking hazard.2. This requires two different types of batteries.3. Batteries not included.4. The toy requires a specific thin screwdriver to access the battery, also not included, and a pain in the ass to buy.5. They use more plastic in the packaging than you can believe.6. When you finally get it working, it's a short range, slow moving toy with a terrible battery life.This was seemingly built by a marketing intern, not someone with children and life experience. it's terrible, and the removal choke hazard is inexcusable.

Easy for a toddler to use
My toddler grandsons love this tractor. It’s got two buttons on the remote control, one to turn the tractor and the other for it to go straight. So easy for them to use. Uses one battery in the tractor and three in the remote control. Very sturdy and well made. Arrived safely, well packaged. Great value.

good quality
bought to replace a different toddler RC car (Tippi brand) which stopped working after a few plays. This one was a good price. The quality is excellent (as you would hope from a John Deere branded toy) and the turning mechanism is more intuitive than the Tippi car we had before. My 3 year old loves it and the quality and price were great
