Great shade
This is a good black-out shade. Its easy to raise and lower, plus I love the attractive pull thingy.

One was a little tricky installing
The end pieces seem fragile making it a little tricky to install one of them. The 2nd one fit really well. Our 2 windows were about 1/4" different in width. They look good now.

Good value
The pull chain does not hang as neatly as a metal ball chain. In this install, I needed to shorten the chain and use the safety clips for a tidy look. Note the placement of the splice clips. I was very careful to measure the length to remove. Instructions are not in the docs for splicing the pull chain. But the clips are included. Details on shortening the chains is needed. Otherwise a 5 star purchase.

Better Than Expected
Easy to install, very good quality. Less expensive than the older spring loaded roller shades, and better quality. Definitely the type of blackout shades that I had hoped for. I have two other windows that need new shades and I will most likely purchase more of these.
