Cheap JUNK
I am surprised at the number of positive reviews for this product. It is cheap, plastic junk. While its certainly easy to install (it does not come with any instructions though it's easy to figure out) its designed so that the handle cannot be completely tightened. There is a gap between the lever rod and where it connects to the handle so it is constantly loose. I had to wrap a rubber band around this area to alleviate the issue. The rod is made of rigid plastic with absolutely no flex to it so there is no doubt it will break in a short period of time. The part you attach the chain to is not tight enough so the chain slips off periodically so yet another fix was needed just to make this functional. The handle itself is just ugly and extremely cheap looking. This this is NOT worth more than $2. I do not recommend this item at all.

As good as in national chain hardware stores
Some of the reviews knock this for being "cheap" or flimsy. But, it is the same quality as what you can find in the big national retailers. I just installed this and it works fine. I can't speak to how durable it will turn out to be. But, don't shy away from this because of concerns it is fragile. One CAUTION is that the locknut was very difficult to remove to install the lever - it was very tightly sealed in place. But, with patience and continued efforts it now does the job it is intended to do.

It looked like my old one was at this angle but I ...
I decided to go with an all-plastic flush lever because the metal (brass?) in my old toilet corroded and fell apart. I lived with the top off the toilet tank and just pulled the chain for a week until I decided to order from Amazon since I hadn't had time to go to the store. Be careful about ordering a new lever with the right angle. It looked like my old one was at this angle but I had to twist a tube out of the way to get this one in, and then the top wouldn't sit flat. Also note that for the left-side lever at least, the plastic nut holding it on is not left-loosey. Try turning it the other way before you strip the corners like I did. It is a flimsy plastic but it did the job for a week until the plumber told me I should get a new toilet - my cheap one was 11 years old and had other corroded parts which left rusty water puddling on the floor.

Technically does flush, BUT....
After my original lever broke beyond repair, I decided to buy this as a replacement. This lever and handle is angled in a way that causes the lever to lean against the tank and SCRAPE it EVERY SINGLE FLUSH. I have to push the handle down and then gently move the handle back otherwise the lever will just hold the flush valve open causing the water to “run”.

The angle of the arm collided with both the filler ...
The angle of the arm collided with both the filler riser and the fill tube. Boil a tall glass of water in the microwave. Soak the handle end for two minutes while you get two pairs of pliers. Gently bend the plastic arm at the elbow with the pliers to tweak the arm another inch of bend. Hold while it the flush arm cools for a minute. Viola. Lastability unknown.

You Get What You Pay For...Not Much
To not mince words, this product is over priced garbage. Light weight, flimsy all plastic that does not work. Installed finger tight, lever does not return to neutral, installed loosely and it flops around and is unreliable. Arm is too short, even with my "universal" length pull chain on new flapper installed at its maximum length tank runs continuously albeit slowly/intermittently thereby costing me a $400 septic tank pump in a matter of a few weeks. Unfortunate that vendors are even allowed to sell such junk. In all, this cost me $459 including original purchase price, septic tank pump, new flapper/chain/fill valve (to diagnose why the constant slow run), and yet another -better quality- handle/lever. I recommend avoiding this at all cost.

Broke after four months of light use.
I was very disappointed in the poor quality of this product. Installation went fine, but upon installing I noticed that everything was made of a relatively thin plastic. Sure enough, after about four months of use, it broke. The part that broke was inside the swivel mechanism that sits in the wall of the tank. A thin plastic cuff that bears most of the torque of the flushing action split, and could not be repaired. I'm going to look for something stronger, for a longer-lasting replacement.

Fit perfectly my American Standard toilet
Someone had installed a straight angle metal lever and bent it to attach to the flush mechanism. That made the toilet hard to flush and then the connection between the handle and lever came loose, probably due to the added stress of it not being designed to be bent.SO I searched for the right model replacement and found this works perfectly on my American Standard toilet. The ONLY issue for me was tightening the locking nut enough to keep the lever from shifting in the whole without breaking the porcelain because the mounting is rather small for the size of the hole.If I install another one I will likely add some epoxy to the lever to make it fit better before installation, but I expect that won't be necessary as this is high quality plastic inside the tank and won't rust or bend based on my evaluation of the design.
