Please read this review. The bag can serve a purpose, but I question its endurance.
If you are looking for a long wearing, tactical bag, this is not it. If you need a roomy duffel that you won't beat up too bad, it's a good deal.It is absolutely not 600 Cordura, it is a moderately thick stamped/patterned plastic with another plastic lining. I question its tactical durability. I own several Timbuk2 messenger/laptop bags and they are built significantly better with true cordura and tougher/thicker liner.I will be using it on my motorcycle for camping trips. It will merely be a bag to hold camping equipment and nothing else. It can hold my 2-man tent, sleeping pad(compressed), air pump, sleeping bag(compressed), camp stove, perhaps a pistol, cooking paraphernalia, food and whatnot. It will also serve is purpose with the ability to strap things(sleeping bag and sleep roll) to the ends of the bag. Side and pockets will be utilized as well.I will follow up this review after a couple road trips in the next few months.BEWARE! This is not cordura as advertised. If you really need endurance and cordura toughness, this is not your bag.

Cheap garbage, falling apart.
I originally gave this bag five stars because it was freaking great at first. Now, however, after two and a half months of just carrying my lunch in it to work it is falling apart. The material they used to make this bag is horrible. It is some kind of mesh sprayed with a layer of plastic that is now coming off in huge pieces. It is literally see through in these spots. I kept seeing plastic stuff in my bag at the end of the day when I would pack it for the next day and didn't realize what was happening. When I looked at it with a flashlight I was astounded at the holes all through it. Being a black bag it is not easily noticeable, but wowww, with a light its terrible. I will take some pictures and include them tomorrow. So disappointed.

Not a tactical bag
OK, so I purchased this after reading many of the reviews and it seems that many are warranted. First, this is NOT a tactical bag. I have 25 years law enforcement experience and this bag is neither a "tactical bag," nor is it a "range bag" as delineated in the product description. This bag is made of cheap material that in my experience will not last very long. The material is weak and the zippers are low quality. This bag is advertised as a tactical bag, however, it is designed to carry nothing heavier than some clothes or light items like toiletries or tennis shoes. If you are looking for a range bag, I suggest purchasing something heavier duty from 5.11. 5.11 is more expensive but I've owned their stuff for several decades and it's built to last. (5.11 didn't exactly have what I was looking for this time so I tried this bag instead). If you plan to place weapons, ammunition, or other heavy gear in this bag, just be warned that you will wear it out fast. I would give this 2.5 stars because it isn't exactly trash. It's basically a decent gym bag that you'll have to replace within a year of daily use. Oh yeah, almost forgot, the molle IS absolutely useless. You get about 10" x 6" on the tops of the two ends that if you attach anything to them, they will most likely rip off after moderate to heavy use.Remember, a tactical bag is designed to protect the gear within it from being damaged by heavy use (i.e. throwing it in the trunk, leaving it in the elements, placing on rough surfaces, and placing heavier stuff on top of it.) This bag will do none of that for you. Like I said, this bag is a tactical-looking, lightweight gym bag which is made in China. Hope this helps...

Looks nice. Doesn't hold up.
Used the bag once. I just ordered it this month and received it shortly before a trip. Packing up for the return trip home, went to cinch down one of the compression straps on the end and the buckle strap completely came undone from the bag. I figured it wasn't a huge deal. I hadn't even used it when I first packed the bag and figured I would just remove that strap when I got home. I moved the bag to the front door of the hotel room. When I was ready to leave, I picked up the bag and went to put it on my shoulder and the shoulder strap did the same thing. The buckle completely pulled through the nylon strap where it is attached to the bag. The shoulder strap is not completely detached on one end. Not cool. The last picture shows how the straps should look. The first two show the two broken straps.

Makes a great range bag but needed one fix to make it even better
I previously bought a smaller version of this exact bag to use for an emergency medical kit bag. Was happy with it from day one. This larger version is also a great bag. I looked at about 6-7 different products before I decided on this. I am really picky about bags like this. They have to be well made, durable, have good zippers and buckles. There are a lot of bags out there that are just junk. At the same time I was not willing to spend $200 for one of the "premium" brands out there. This was the answer. I bought it to use as a range bag. A lot of products marketed as "range bags" are just too small, they have no space or flexibility. This bag has lots of space in the main compartment for bigger items i.e. if you transport your handguns in lockable cases. Also has lots of pockets for the smaller items like tools, safety glasses, ear plugs, cleaning supplies. Comes with nice carry handles and a shoulder strap. My only compliant was the bottom liner for the main compartment. This is a separate item included with the bag that is meant to be placed in the bottom of the main compartment to act as a "floor" and as a stiffener. It was simply too flimsy to do the job if you were going to carry any substantial weight in the bag i.e. lots of ammo. A simple fix - I got a piece of 1/8 inch fiberboard and cut it to fit and sanded up the edges. Now there is a nice stiff liner on the bottom of the main compartment. Made a great bag just about perfect. This product is made in China but for the money it is a good value. I expect it will provide many years of solid use.
