My dental hygienist had been telling me to get an electric toothbrush for years, because I brush too hard with a manual one. I held off because I didn’t want it to take up space on my bathroom counter, not to mention that my cats chew on any brush they see.About 9 months ago I finally bought a cheap electric toothbrush to see if I would like it. It charged with a plug, which was important, because I could keep it in a drawer when it wasn’t charging. Unfortunately, it was cheaply made with a plastic interior column that broke after about 8 months. When I went to replace it, I did a lot more research and chose the Yunchi Y7 Sonic Electric Toothbrush. I have nothing negative to say, so I’ll tell you why I like it so much.Not only does it charge by plug, but it has a sturdy metal column (where the brush head connects) that should last a long time. There are 5 modes to choose from, each with an automatic 2 minute timer that pauses every 30 seconds, reminding you to switch quadrants. None of the modes are overly loud (as I find rotating brush heads to be) - but I’m not sure how they perform differently from each other, aside from sounding lower or higher pitched. On the handle, there are 2 thoughtfully placed bumps on the opposite side from the "on" button that keep this round brush from rolling over and getting toothpaste on the counter. It also makes a good thumb rest. As I’m writing this, there are 5 versions of the Yunchi toothbrush to choose from on this listing - I bought the green-Y7 (bluish & pink gradient) with included case. It comes with 10 individually wrapped brush heads, with color fade bristles to remind you when to change them out (about every 3 months). It also includes a travel case with a magnetic closure, that will store the brush base and 1 brush head (separately). The product box includes instructions and a USB-to-plug charging cable that plugs into the bottom of the brush under a concealed and waterproof port door. There was no wall charger, but I have so many USB-A chargers from other products, that it made no difference to me. The first full charge lasted me a little over a month.There is one thing that I left out - this toothbrush is so pretty that it makes me smile every time I use it, seriously! I could have bought any of a couple of other electric toothbrushes that were similar in features and comparable in price, but once I saw this one, I wanted it. The toothbrush and the box it comes in are so pretty that it's honestly gift-worthy. Overall, 5 stars from me.*Presently a pack of 5 replacement brush heads for the Yunchi Y7 costs almost as much as a whole new brush base with 3 heads. At this point it’s a non-issue, because 10 brush heads should last me about 2 1/2 years…and who knows if the rechargeable battery will even last that long?

I do really like this toothbrush, but the vibration is a little too intense. It tickles, which isn't overly fun when brushing your teeth, and the vibration feels like it rattles my skull. That being said, it looks great and my teeth are very clean!

Super high powered my eyes were jiggling when I put it in my mouth. Turn it down low and then work your way up. If you keep it moving and don’t leave it in one spot DI situation resolved itself.But other than that it is an extraordinarily deep cleaning brush. I think it works better than some of the major brand

Pretty, effective and 10 spare brushes. One charge lasts ages. So much cheaper than other models on the market. Highly recommend. Also has travel case.
