My cat loves this

We adopted a kitten from a local humane society, he was very small and there are indications that he may have been taken from his mama too soon. The shelter didn't have very much information on him, but they suspected the same. We chose Stella and chewy because of its quality and its content. (We also use their raw wrapped kibble for our dog.) Our kitten is between 6 and 9 months old and goes crazy for his kibble! I personally think he had malnutrition issues, when we adopted him the shelter attendant joked that he and one of his siblings only had one Brain cell between the two of them but that they made up for it by how much they loved and how cute they were... Watching him at the shelter he did seem to be right on track with those comments. After having him home for 2 months eating Stella and chewy kibble, I noticed not only that he gained weight nicely he also didn't seem to be so behind cognitively. It's been 4 months, and he is one happy healthy boy we definitely credit the high quality of Stella and chewy!

I like the raw Stella and Chewy products. Only the coating of this food is made with raw ingredients but, they do make other products that contain a higher percentage of raw ingredients.

We found Pepper after a huge storm when he still needed to bottle fed. After weaning him off the bottle we were feeding him kitten food from a local feed supply store. He wasn’t thriving. Then I found this product and he is growing and nourished. It is packed with the nutrients and protein kittens need. He actually eats less than the cheaper food so it doesn’t strain our budget.

I bought this food for my 9 month old kitty and she refused to touch it at all. I gave it to the stray and feral kittens that I feed outside and they wouldn't eat it either. They ate all their other hard food and left this sitting. I think the kibble is way too small. I also think it's to hard, I witnessed one of the kittens trying it and it seemed to hard for her. I really wanted this food to work out. I really like the idea of freeze dried raw cat food. I want my cats to have the best diet possible.

The title basically says it all. I feed my kittens a large variety of different foods since I've read that's good for them-- basically anything I come across with natural, high Protien, healthy sounding ingredients that I think they may like. I've also read kittens aren't picky eaters yet, but I have to disagree with that, mine seem sufficiently picky. I have several boxes of different types of kitten food they refuse to eat at all. Other foods, they like some of the time, but won't touch at other times. This food, however, they seem to love all the time. It appears to have good, high Protien ingredients. We (my kittens and I) have liked other Stella and Chewy brand products we've tried too, especially their raw foods, but I also buy their canned kitten food as well.
