Eureka Season 4.0
As with previous releases, Eureka packages the season in a different, more "Eco Friendly" manner. This half-season comes on 2 Discs. Here are the episodes:Disc 1:01 - Founder's Day02 - Founder's Day Extended Version03 - A New World04 - All the Rage05 - The Story Of O2Disc 2:06 - Crossing Over07 - Momstrosity08 - Stoned09 - The Ex-Files10 - I'll Be Seeing You13.1 - Cross-Over EpisodeAir dates are from Jul 9, 2010 to Sept 10, 2010Remainder of "Season 4" should be released as "Season 4.5" and be for the 2011 episodes.I do not agree with the extended version of "Founder's Day" being counted as another episode, and also note that the "O Little Town" Christmas special is missing. It might end up on the Season 4.5 set, but it is not on the discs I got (that I could find). The last episode listed as "13.1 - Cross-Over Episode" is actually a Warehouse 13 episode named 13.1, where Fargo makes an appearance. The major extra features seem to be this episode and the Extended Cut of the Founder's Day episode. When selecting individual episodes, you will likely only see 3 episodes and wonder where the rest are. There is a white arrow to the right of the episodes listed. It is kind of hard to see, but it is there and that will lead to the second page with the rest of the episodes.I love the series, so I am happy to have the set. However, I kind of wish they had a full season every year (20 or so episodes) instead of splitting each season between 2 years. Or at least just officially call them 10-episode seasons. (BluRay would be nice too.) Overall I am happy to have my physical copy of this great series!

Short but nice
Short - because it is only half of a season; but nice because this Season flips Eureka on it's head with multiple role changes following a time travel incident. I especially liked the crossover episode, where Douglas gets a visit from someone on Warehouse 13, another SyFy Channel show. Carter finally gets to kiss Allison, and in the rest of the show it looks like he is lucky & unlucky in love. (A love quadrangle develops?) Henry gets a new love interest, thanks to his alternate-universe self. And we get a new character to hate - Dr Trevor.I don't know whether to be happy or sad that releases are starting to come in half-seasons instead of full seasons. On the one hand, I can rewatch my favorite episodes without waiting as long; on the other hand, each set has fewer episodes. I am very satisfied with Amazon's pre-order policy - I think this was $25 or $30 when I pre-ordered it, but when it finally shipped, the price had dropped to $17. (Which beat the price at Walmart - $19 plus tax!)

Eureka: season 4.0
I absolutely love the series Eureka and like every DVD I ordered from here they were in good shape worked well had no problems with them. The only complaint I have is not with Amazon, nor with the supplier of the disk, it's the fact that they chose to make it season 4.0 and season 4.5 So that instead of getting a complete season on one disc set, you have to purchase 2, this wouldn't be half bad if they took the standard cost and split it in two but they don't. They charge you full price for each half season like I said not Amazon's fault nor the supplier I do recommend this for anyone that enjoys science fiction and a little drama

Discs come loose in "Green Packaging"
This is one star off, only for the "green" packaging. I love the series. The case is "made from post-consumer recycled paper." That means the outer slip off cover and cardboard case itself look like cereal boxes, gray cardboard inside with a printed paper cover. I have 5 seasons w this packaging and new or used, all have slightly squashed corners. The cardboard isn't stiff enough not to squish. No big deal. The real problem is the 2 "recycled water bottles" saved "from the landfill" used inside to hold the discs. They don't always hold. I've had 2 or 3 seasons arrive w a loose disc. One disc in this season 4.0 was not only loose, but scratched as it moved around in shipping. A disc in an another season just won't stay in. I've stuck wadded plastic wrap inside to keep it in place. A seemingly opposite problem is sometimes I have to pull so hard on other discs to remove them, I'm afraid they'll break.Whole Season 3, 2014, has a very nice clear case, free of green and the problems that came with it.Green is good when it works. Unfortunately, here it doesn't.

Fantastic series - keep the seasons coming!
We've bought every season so far, and can't wait for the next installment.Eureka is witty, smart, and well-acted.Occasionally there is a sloppy edit, but that is about the only criticism I have. It's one of the very few series that my wife and I BOTH enjoy.Well, I DO have one more criticism:WHY do they now insist that we buy "Half" seasons, rather than full seasons? Seems to be an easy way to make a couple more bucks from the fans, unfortunately.Regardless, we like it too much not to buy it.

A most fun series
I've especially enjoyed seeing a lot of Hallmark movie actors in this early role.

Brilliant!
My obsession with this show began on Netflix so I HAD to purchase the DVD'S to find out the fate of my favorite characters. This show has an excellent plot and the cast is brilliant. It makes Orange is the New Black seem ridiculous by comparison. I love a show that focuses on character building and development - and Unite 9 never disappoints. English subtitles by the way!

Part 1... of season 4
Unfortunately we are back to a 4.0 and 4.5 collection. Would have been nicer to have all of them in one boxset. Storyline for the frist part is alright. We have the first episode setup and then we see how the usual over arching storyline continues for the rest of the season. The playing with the timeline is a good way of bringing a instant mix-up to things and also a nice way of asking the question of whether fate makes it that certain events are always likely to occur.... but all that thinking gets in the way of a good yarn.

why i like a town called eureka
I love the mixture of comedy and drama. the characters are mostly likeable and there are plenty of surprises in this season. I think what makes it a hit for me is that they have thrown in a new twist to an existing premise so the stories never get dull
