Bought this as it’s a great value and hoping it would help with pre-menstrual pain. I started taking it for the first time less than a week before my period and while I still had pain it wasn’t as bad as it usually is. I’m hoping next month will be even better. As for it calming nerves and relaxing you- I can definitely tell you that it makes you sleepy. I feel it within 15 minute of taking it. I wouldn’t say I feel relaxed per se, just sleepy. I’ve been sleeping better since taking this.
