Trunk saver
Exactly what I was looking for. Had a flat and the stuff that I had to pull out of my trunk to be able to access the jack was frustrating. This solved the problem. Very sturdy, easy to use, can be anchored so it stays in one place, and is expandable. What more could you ask for. Everything in one place neat and tidy.

One Excellent Trunk Organizer
This trunk organizer was the best one that I could find. The reason I bought it was specifically because of the straps that would secure it in the back of my SUV. I've only had it for a short time and only just, last weekend, secured it and really started to move stuff into it.Here are my positives so far:1. The straps work exactly as I'd hoped. They secure the organizer to my vehicle just as expected. I have a plastic liner in the back of my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and the straps keep the organizer from sliding around in the back of the vehicle.2. The organizer itself seems very well made. The sides are more sturdy than I expected. The removable "divider" is a kind of flimsy, but it definitely works to separate one of the larger areas into two separate areas. I used it the divider once, then decided I didn't need to have it set up permanently, so, right now, it's just laying in the back of the organizer. I've carried 2 gallon jugs of milk (along with other grocery items) and nothing moved at all.3. It's got lots of pockets! Two of them in the front have flaps to secure them while the others, which are mesh, are open at the top. I've only used one of the flap pockets, but I'm glad they are there. So far, I only have two suggestions:1. The "removable divider" only works in one of the larger compartments which is the same side as the two front closeable pockets. I have the unit secured to the right rear of my SUV with the front pockets facing the rear (for easy access). I wish that I was able to put the divider in the section further from the front pockets... I wanted the bigger section next to the front pockets and the other section to be the one that was able to be made into smaller sections.2. I have several places to secure the straps into the rear of my vehicle. I wish that besides the two existing places to connect the straps on the organizer there were additional places at each corner to secure the straps (instead of one in the middle of the front and one in the middle of the back of the organizer). In my vehicle this would be an easier way to connect and would just, generally, give people more options on where and how to connect to their vehicle.3. I wish this product would have come in more colors. The gray is nice, but I would have preferred a brighter color.Other than those few (minor) observations, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I haven't had the need to use it in the front seat of my car, but It's cool that it can be modified to collapse a bit and still be usable.I'm very opinionated about the products I spend my money on and this organizer was worth every cent.

A great gift
I bought this organizer for my mom after reading a good review about it on the CNN website. Mom is always putting her purse in the trunk when she goes walking at the local mall every day. She also will put packages in the trunk. This organizer attaches on both sides to keep it steady. It is very sturdy. There’s different size slots that can be customized. It installed in about two seconds… very easy to adjust the straps to the sides of the trunk. The material is not flimsy at all, and it’s waterproof and resistant to tearing. I can see why CNN recommends this organizer! I did not get one for myself because I rarely put anything in the trunk. We both drive Buick Encore GX’s for size comparison, but it would easily fit any SUV.

Organizational heaven
I typically like to keep things very organized, but my car and trunk were a mess with stuff scattered everywhere and loose in the trunk. I finally decided to do something about it, looked at several different versions of these organizers (there are many different but highly similar ones, with only minor variances between them) and settled on these as they had good reviews, the company seemed good, and they had the extra feature of the straps. I now keep one opened in my trunk and another fully collapsed next to it for when it's needed. Between the various compartments and pockets, I can keep so much in just one of these, and it's organized. And I love that I can collapse them either all the way down (which allows keeping the extra on hand as mentioned), halfway down, or open all the way. And they are certainly sturdy enough to carry full of moderately heavy stuff, though I don't think I would fill them with milk jugs and/or water bottles and try, even though it would probably hold it.My only real issue with them is they slide all over in the trunk, so I had to glue some velcro to the bottom. Of course, even though I used small pieces, I put them in several strategic locations, so while it doesn't move around anymore, I have to lift the whole thing up to move it, since it won't slide. In retrospect, I should have used just a couple small pieces in the center or in a couple corners. But it would have been nice if this was done by the manufacturer, and if they could figure out something to use besides velcro, so it wouldn't grip so forcefully, but that would still grip enough to keep it from moving around on its own. Maybe some kind of non-skid or just some really fine textured velcro. Also, and this is very minor, the use of cleats and elastic loops for securing it in various stages of collapse is both good and bad. It's bad because they take a bit more effort to use than plastic buckles would have, but good because plastic buckles would add a bit more bulk and cost. There are, of course, other options for this part of the design as well, but unless you're constantly readjusting the size, it's an extremely minor issue. And the other, very minor, issue I have is with the two back net pockets (opposite side from the fabric pockets). I use one of them to store something that is a tight fit, and it would be really nice if it was a bit bigger. But if I cut the seam between the two to turn it into one pocket, it would be too big, and I would lose a pocket. Not really a big deal, and of course this will vary by individual, but for me it would have been nice to have them split 60/40 or 70/30 instead of 50/50. I'm sure I could devise a way to open them into one big pocket then add an adjustable separator, but some variation in the design would have been nice.A couple other things to note:- Since I just primarily keep it velcro'd down in one place to hold stuff that stays in the car, I don't use the straps with it. I've found them handy for attaching to a point in the trunk and then using the hook to hold on to grocery bag handles to keep the bags in place.- Most of the pictures here make the front pockets, and the flap over the one, seem to be very stiff fabric. They're perfectly flat and smooth and stand up perfectly. Actually, they're flimsy (though sturdy) fabric that sags, and I'm pretty sure they've stuffed the pockets to give them that look. It's not a bad thing; they're just trying to make it look as good as possible, and the pockets still work perfectly fine, but I wanted to mention it just in case someone got the impression from the photos they were really that stiff.
