Outsmarted the birds
This is my second one. The first one got clogged up from dirt. When the second one arrived, I was happy to see it came with sponge filters that get inserted from the top of the pump. the first one did not utilize filters . I use the pump in a bird bath to keep the mosquitos away. But I quickly realized that the birds would pull out the sponge filter thinking it was either some kind of insect or worms. For a while I would find the filters on the ground. But eventually they were no where to be found. So I realized I could pull the filter housing off the pump. I used a dremel to put a notch on the bottom of the housing and then reattach the housing to the pump upside down. So now the filter can be accessible from the bottom of the pump without the birds pulling out the filter.These little pumps are worth it IMO. The filters are definitely a bonus but you have to wring them out daily. Birds leave so much grime after they bathe which is why the first pump stopped working.I mount the solar panel to an upside wire paper towel rack and zip tied the rack to a small shepherds hook to keep the panel off the ground.

Works in a small birdbath
Like affordable price and compact size. Tends to be plugged easily by algae. Filter needs cleaned daily. Figured it would be dead by now so pleasantly surprised. No dislikes.

Stopped working...
It stopped working after 6 months.

Broke within a week of use
The first one stopped working, was sent a replacement which stopped working also.

Solar Fountain Pump
It works ok. The only reason I'm not thrilled with it is because it's difficult to prop up. I bought another one that has a little stand that makes it so easy to turn towards the sun.

Dead in a week
Used according to directions but pump died in less than a week. Junk, don’t waste your money
