I have tried this priming and setting spray several times and so far I like it. I agree with some of the reviews that mention it's best to use it as both primer and setting spray. I especially like the fine mist of the spray nozzle. Sometimes I use it to refresh my makeup throughout the day.

I have combination skin and use this to lock in my make up. At first, I thought I got a faulty product, but after watching reviews on YouTube, it’s the nozzle! You must spray once, otherwise it’ll spit at you upon application. Also, it sprays in a circle pattern, so you have to keep spritzing the product on your face.Overall, the product works beautifully. Just the nozzle kinda sucks!

I read one review that was like this stuff works well if you spray, then put some makeup on, then spray, then put more makeup on, the spray again, etc.. but that is just too much spraying to me and too much stuff on my face! But it felt like if you didn’t do that, it didn’t really seem to set anything. I’ve never really used a setting spray before but it didn’t seem to make anything stay on my face for any longer than normal and just felt kinda weird.

This comes in an outer product box. It is made in US.The bottle is plastic. It has a nice look to it. It’s simple but clean and nice.This has a really nice sprayer. It sprays such a fine mist you almost don’t feel it going on! I have to hold it pretty close to even feel like I’m getting any on 😂 But I love how fine the spray it. It’s not spitting me in the face and applying big blobs of setting spray in some areas and none in others. It’s a nice, fine, even mist. I didn’t notice a scent of any kind.I feel this works amazing as a primer and refreshing spray. I spray it before I apply my makeup, then after I apply my foundation to kind of refresh my skin again. I let it dry and apply my powder products, then apply it again to kind of melt everything in.As a setting spray I think it works really well too. If you use it as a primer and spray it throughout the makeup application like I described above, and then finish off your makeup with this, then this works amazing. My makeup stays put. It doesn’t fade or separate, even through my 12+ hour shifts where I’m running around and sweating most of it, which is always my true test of how well a setting spray works. If my makeup can last through one of my work shifts, then it’s an amazing setting spray! 😅 However, when I haven’t used this throughout the makeup process and only applied it at the end of my makeup as a setting spray only, I don’t find it works as well. It helps makeup last longer than without, but nowhere near as long as others. So I think it’s power is definitely using it throughout the makeup application and at the end!Overall, if you’ll use this as a primer and refreshing spray to use throughout makeup application and then as a setting spray at the end, I definitely recommend this. It works amazing when used that way! But, if you wouldn’t use this as a primer and throughout applying makeup and would only use this as a setting spray at the end, I wouldn’t recommend it because it doesn’t work well when used just as that and there’s better ones for that purpose alone. I’m giving it 5 stars since it claims to work as a primer, refreshing spray, and setting spray and it works well as all 3 of those together.

This Re-fresh priming and setting spray arrived quickly and looks as shown in the product images. I’ve been looking for a nice 2-in one to incorporate into my beauty routine and I really wanted to love this. It mists/sprays beautifully and with ease, giving you total control of the amount. I used this both before and after makeup but unfortunately my makeup look lasts just the same amount of time as it normally would. I will note that my skin is on the dryer side and absorbs very easily which could’ve played a big role in my personal experience with it. I will say it helps significantly when applying my foundation and concealer, it doesn’t make them watery but it makes it much easier to evenly apply! As far as the value; I think $18 is an excellent price considering the size, and because there might’ve been other factors in my experience I think it could be better than my skin gives it credit for. That said, I don’t think it was a total loss for me as I found a good way to use it that suits my routine.
