Contractors who installed irrigation lines used a steel pipe between the house's mail water supply and their PVC-plastic irrigation pipes. Our house sits on heavy-clay expansive soil that shrinks and expands greatly between winter rains and summer drought. This caused our house to move and sheared off the top of the PVC pipe fitting to the steel down-pipe from the house. See 1st photo showing about 3" of movement. I replaced that steel connecting pipe with this flexible hose that has nylon or similar braided reinforcement. See 2nd photo.It has lasted 3 years of continuous use.

…than what was locally available. the pipe came in an easy roll but it by no means was so tight or packaged in a way that the ends lost their round. locally, I would have been forced to buy a product that had been poorly stored and would have had to spend a great deal of effort to return the pipe ends to rounds.I received a little more than 10’ and each end was cut completely square. would recommend the product wholeheartedly.

I don't know why condensate pumps do not come with this kind of tubing instead of the flimsy clear vinyl that leaked 3 times in my basement because the walls of the flimsy tubing cannot handle any kind of pressure. This tubing has a good walls thickness that can handle the pressure of any clamp, the trick being to not over tighten the clamps so it seals very well at the fittings. A other people mentioned, the chemical smell of the product out of the box is very powerful, I can still smell it in the room where I stored the left over one week after!! I would not use this tubing for anything related to human consumption but for drainage, no problem.

Feel the hose is a fair price for the product. It did get hard after a while and became less flexible, but it's been holding up on a fluid pump for a year so far. Would be 5 stars if it was a little more flexible.

I bought this to replace/upgrade the spot sprayer hose on my trailer-type lawn sprayer. The original rubber has failed. This item was the best price I found for a 100 ft roll of higher pressure rated vinyl tubing, and was actually less expensive than lower rated tubing. I use the spot spray wand in areas immediately adjacent to flower beds, etc. to avoid damage due to spray drift, and the extra length will allow me to cover more area without moving the sprayer itself. Good value!

I use this hose for costume purposes and it is super high quality. I see some other reviews mentioning it's stiffness - if you are not putting the hose under high pressure, I would recommend boiling it. I bring a pot of water to a boil, drop the hose in, and let it boil for 10 mins. Remove pot from heat and let the hose stay in the water while it cools for a bit. When you remove it, it will be very flexible. My one complaint is that the lettering on the hose is applied with super-ink and it takes a bit of work to remove with acetone. Good product and small ID than you can buy at the big box stores.

I use for friction reduction low alge growth and pressure rating. UV rating not given but works in direct sun for three months at 115 feet pressure.
