I installed these H8 LED fog lights in my car. They installed easily and are working well so far. They have a bright, consistent yellow color output. They fit in my H8 fog light housing without issue, although they definitely are larger than the factory H8 bulbs. Overall, I’d definitely recommend these. Note: I didn’t get these for free, I paid for them and this is a genuine, non-sponsored review.Packaging:These fog light bulbs come in an attractive package. The box feels sturdy, there’s foam insulation inside to protect the LED bulbs, and it feels like a nice unboxing experience.Perceived Initial Quality:For the price, I immediately thought that these bulbs seemed to be very high quality. Overall nice metal housing construction, plastic connector, and LED chips. A fine product for the price upon initial inspection.Ease of Installation:These LED light bulbs fit directly into my housing without any modification needed. I was a little bit worried that I might have issues, considering that these bulbs are a little bit larger, but I didn’t run into problems. Physically swapping the bulbs took around 2 to 3 minutes per side, although removing and reinstalling the housings took longer. Overall, I would rate this job as a one or two wrenches, out of five wrenches in difficulty. A beginner could do it imo.LED Chips:I chose the yellow color LEDs for my fog lights as I drive in a lot of foggy, overcast conditions. They work really nicely for that. The light output is consistent and bright. The LED chips are large and I believe that contributes to the overall perception of brightness.H8 Halogen vs LED differences:These LED bulbs are definitely a bit bigger. However, it’s not so big that the light bulbs won’t install correctly. They also feel more substantial than the Halogen bulbs I removed.In terms of brightness, there’s no comparison - these LEDs are definitely brighter. Please note that pictures I attached to this review.Overall rating:Although it’s been less than a week, I have no reason to believe these bulbs won’t last. They have been working well and are super bright. I appreciate the packaging and the perception of quality upon the inspection of the bulbs. Comparing them to the halogen H8, they fit in the housing correctly and are much brighter. 5 stars.

Excellent fog light replacement with a good, bright, less glaring amber/yellow color. Very easy direct replacement on a 2010 Ford Explorer. The color is great for cutting through snow, fog, and rain, and even improved the visual definitely of wet roads, which I didn't expect.No issues over six months of use and no bad reactions from oncoming drivers.

Update: More than a year later this bulb is still going strong! No issues whatsoever! Great quality so far. Original review was June of 2024 & update is from Aug of 2025.Original Review: Easy install, plug & play, sits securely where it should, no flickering & they are nice & bright. We had another brand, Lasfit, that was double the price here on Amazon & one of the fog lights went out in a year. We found corrosion in the connector, it had a longer lead from bulb to the truck's connector, and it would flicker or cut out completely. We went to remove it and the bulb came out if the housing so we had to fiddle to get the housing out which was a P.I.T.A. these are securely attached to the housing so that won't happen again & the trucks electrical hooks directly into the bulb so it won't dangle down low or possibly get moisture buildup in the connection. I will update with performance & longevity issues when necessary.

These bulbs fit perfectly in my 2014 Nissan Frontier SV. The lights seem bright, but given that it's the tail end of summer, I'll have to wait a couple of months for some bad weather to put them to the real test. That said, these were much less expensive than purchasing similar replacement bulbs from any of the chain auto parts stores.As for installation, it was a snap. I only had to remove three screws to access the the back of the fog lamps to replace the bulbs. I think the "official" instructions involve removing the bumpers to replace them. DO NOT DO THAT. There are plenty of videos online on how to replace them via the wheel wells. Watch the videos before you decide to bring your Frontier into a shop to have them "professionally" installed. You can save a lot of money by doing it yourself.

Do need a resistor for a halogen 2008 bmw 328i, but they look great. They flicker a little bit when you first turn the car on, but is so subtle. I already notice a huge difference in people not turning out or moving in to my lane, especially in the rain; my car is Arktic blue/silver so it’s almost invisible in the rain. These help a lot being seen, and are great for visibility. Brighter that normal fogs, but not obnoxious.Update: grab a car scanner that’s compatible with BimmerCode(for bmw) and set up the LED fog light settings and it’ll all be fixed. You can also customize a lot more on the car, including identifying issues so definitely worth buying that also.
