I live in the desert SW & walk a great deal. We've recently had coyotes making their way into the neighborhoods. I'd heard whistles will deter them from people so I wear one. I hope I don't have to find out if they're right!

Good whistle
This is a great set of whistles. I use them for reffing volleyball. They work fine, have great sound and volume. Only “complaint” is that the mouth piece is a bit bigger than my old whistle so my jaw was kinda tired originally, but eventually I got used to it.
