Pretty good
It isnt scented, but it isnt fragrance free. It has a nice neutral scent from the soap itself. Works great on clothes.

Fragrance-free, Natural Detergent that Cleans Well
I like this detergent just fine. It is low sudsing, fragrance free and works well. I've been using this several weeks now with no issues. This gallon should wash 85 loads - that's about $0.35 a load - a little pricier than the not-so-environmentally-friendly competition - but not a deal breaker. My only complaint about this product is simply a manufacturer oversight. The directions call for .75 oz. - 1.5 oz. detergent per wash. How much is that exactly? 1/4 cup? 1/3 cup? 1/8th cup? I'm guessing it's a little under 1/4 cup, but there's no reason there should have to be any guesswork at all. Offer this product with a measuring cap and I'd give it 5 stars. As is, I'm deducting a star.

Quality Detergent, Good for Sensitive Skin, Cleans Well
We've used this detergent for 5-6 loads now, and it works great. It is definitely comparable to the detergent we normally use. The lack of fragrance isn't our favorite, but I understand that some folks need to have no fragrance if they have allergies and sensitive skin issues. We may try adding some essential oils to a load or two to add a bit of natural fragrance, but since the detergent cleans well the clothing does come out smelling fresh and clean. My only two reservations are the price and the fact that the bottle is indeed not the easiest to maneuver. We have a measuring cup at home that has a 1.5 oz option, so we've just kept that in the laundry room and pour into that to measure. It works just fine.

Cleans good
I'm used to using detergent that smells good and this has no smell so that is different for me. It cleans good though and hasn't hurt any of my clothes. I think the price is quite high and I would not reorder this detergent.

Seems to work fine
First off, I want to preface my review by saying that I don't think my clothes every get super dirty, oily, muddy, etc. I occasionally have some stinky underarm/inseam smells but the rest of my clothes just never get that gross. That being said, I can't say how this would work on clothes that need hard hitting detergent. For my clothes, this seemed to perfectly clean the light stench out of my clothes when I followed the directions and used 1 oz of detergent for my med-large-ish sized load of clothes. I actually used an extra measuring cup to measure out one ounce and it didn't even make a dent in the bottle. I thought that my yet undried clothes (after wash cycle) had a very faint floral/laundry softener smell. I mean extremely faint to the point where I wondered if there was still some laundry softener perfume left from when a family member some clothes for me on vacation. I don't like heavy perfumes in my clothes, and this was an acceptable level of perfume IF it came from the detergent. I have a sensitive nose, so others might not even notice. My mom is actually allergic to perfumes and my clothes have not yet bothered her. I have had no skin reactions or issues to this detergent. (Some other non-free and clear do cause me itching/hives.)Overall, when this finally runs out I would consider repurchasing this if I can afford it. Its a little expensive, but if 1 oz works for each of my loads, then I could get up to 128 loads out of this. That means my loads would be approx 0.23 cents each. That's not too bad.

It's hard to pour out of a gallon jug
Review of Ginger Lily Farms Botanicals Plant-Based Liquid Laundry Detergent, Free & ClearI normally use Tide Free & Gentle liquid and I've been very happy with that. I have some allergies and sensitive skin, too. This detergent by Ginger Lily Farms cleans just as well as the Tide does. I have a GE stackable HE machine and this is hard to pour out of a gallon jug without some getting into the softener dispenser. I may have to pour it into an empty Tide jug. I wish this came in a jug like other laundry products use.

Clean and Clear, Wash Me!
Unfortunately, I am one of those picky people about laundry ingredients. I have tried various soaps and cleaners in hopes of getting my clothes clean without irritating my skin and that of my family. I am conscientious about chemicals, the fewer the better, and the absence of scent is even a bigger plus. There has been no clear winner, powder over liquid, to date. I found that baby-focused laundry items have their ups and downs, clear liquids do not guarantee the best clean, and powders do not always rinse away. Now, you see where I start from. Read the label, it is a very short list! This liquid is clean and clear, easy to pour, not too heavy, and the lack of splashy advertising carries through to cost savings on my end. Clothes are coming out of the wash, clean, and free of haze or leftover crumbles or stains. They do not smell harsh or flowery and do not have an artificial aroma hanging around. I think the items are soft, not stiff or scratchy, and the detergent has not caused any skin irritation as yet. Laundry still remains at the lower end of my enjoyable tasks, but not adding the frustrations of irritation, cost, cleanliness, and odor, sure makes it a more pleasant necessity.

Good detergent, bad container
⭐ I like:1. Light scent while the detergent is in the bottle; no scent after the wash. Excellent.2. Cleans well, although we do not have heavy staining★ I do not like:1. Price2. A gallon container is hard to handle while the bottle is full; I over-poured it the first time I used it. I moved the content into an old Tide laundry jug.Ali Julia reviewReview of Ginger Lily Farms Botanicals Plant-Based Liquid Laundry Detergent
