This was bought as a replacement tank lid LED light on a 2ft tetra tank, so its not been submerged in water or had the suction cups used.Many light settings to choose from with dimming control on the remote. The white setting really brings out the colours. Fantastic effects with Endlers and neons/cardinals and even brings out a shimmer haze on black widow tetras.

This is better than the original one installed which we had difficulty in getting replacement bulbs for and was an off white colour

I wanted a dimmable light for my tank as the one that came with it was far too bright, the fish were scared and hiding while the lights were on. I wasn't expecting a great deal from this product given the low price, but I am very pleasantly surprised, the range of light colours and dimming options is terrific, my fish seem to prefer dim light and they have been swimming around happily in all of the colour options on the dimmer settings. I haven't used the timer function so can't comment on that. The little remote control seems a bit flimsy and perhaps wouldn't withstand lots of enthusiastic button pushing, but there is another button on the transformer as a back up, I have suction cupped this to the side of the tank for easy access. Easy to install, the light bar did rest in the cradle of the tank lid although not a perfect fit it was fine, but I have used the suction cups provided and attached it to the back wall of the tank (although above the water line...I don't trust submerged lighting and cables!) purely because I preferred how the light was cast that way. Only been installed for a few days so can't yet comment on its longevity, but so far I am very satisfied!

It’s good quality and easy to fit and useIt came with 3 suction cups which works well and plenty of lead .Lights up the tank well and can be placed so it doesn’t make the tank look messy

The package was safely delivered and the package was decent to keep the light safe the colours on the light are so bright however I have tried to look to contact the seller but couldn’t find how to as the remote that came with the light is not working I’ve took the battery out and played with it to see if it was the wrong way round and things but it just wouldn’t work which I was gutted about as everything is amazing

Would have given this 5 stars but i was let down by the location of the switch, which for me, was located too near the plug and I was therefore unable to hang it on the outside of my tank for easy access, I’ve had to have the switch by the plug socket inside the aquarium cupboard which has stiff doors so my poor fish are subjected to a loud bang and a rocking of the tank each time i open a door to turn the light on and off! However, this is probably not a problem for most, so, other than that pet grieve, the light is great, very bright, with suckers to hold it in place - I have it on the outside top of the tank but it can be used in the water too. Good price and speedy delivery with prime 😁
