Couldn’t Even Wait! 💕
I haven’t taken this on a trip yet, but couldn’t even wait to review it because I am so stoked about this bag. I am flying budget airlines for two legs of three flights I’m taking over a few weeks, and didn’t want to pay for a carry-on or checked bag. A carry-on is barely larger than a personal item anyway!Ok, so a personal item size max is 18” x 14” x 8”. This bag is 19.7” x 14.6” x 9.8”. As long as I don’t pack it super tight, it should easily fit (slightly squished) into the personal item check if I’m asked! It has less than 2” extra on each dimension than allowed. I was surprised to see another reviewer returned theirs thinking it wouldn’t work as a personal item, but due to what I just wrote, it should.I am impressed by the amount of thought that seems to have gone into designing this bag. There are a couple outside zipper pockets perfect for a wallet, phone, headphones and snack to be accessible on the flight and in the terminal. One of the pockets has a pass-through behind it so u can slip it over the pull-up handle of a suitcase if u want. Inside there are 2 zippered and 2 open pockets. The shoe compartment is roomy and will be SUPER helpful (especially for smaller, easily stackable shoes like Hey Dudes and Birkenstocks) and will keep dirty soles away from clothes. Even the toiletry bag, which I didn’t even plan to keep or use, is so cute and has a zippered pocket inside! It won’t work as a liquids bag (as those need to be clear) but if you’re flying u could put other things in there. Something I didn’t even care about, I’m now excited to have. The bag is super roomy, and I should easily be able to fit 3-4 outfits and a couple pairs of PJs in it. I also plan to take a laptop, tablet, and a couple of books with me. I’m betting I’ll have extra room to bring home souvenirs!*I will update this after my trip is over in a month* but wanted to offer my thoughts now. I fly often and this bag, if it holds up well, will save a lot of money on not having to buy checked bags with budget airlines and will look stylish doing so. I wish I’d done this eons ago, as I’ve been thinking of doing. If u are on the fence like I was and kept paying for checked/carryon bags to stubbornly have a suitcase, buy this!!! (And if u do get a carry-on or checked bag for free with ur flight, this will offer u a much larger personal item than u probably typically carry, as a companion to ur other bag!)AFTER-VACATION COMMENTS: This bag did very well on my trip! I have several tips if u will use it as I described above. First, invest in packing cubes. My first flight was very delayed and I ended up at a mall and bought some due to the extra time I had on my hands; once I packed everything in I realized how much was in there and wished it was organized in some way. They were great to have. Also the cubes stay in place and prevent all ur stuff from squishing out the sides due to the weight, and then u have to try to squish it back the way it was to get it in the personal item sized bin. Because of the sheer amount of clothes and shoes and work laptop etc that I squeezed in, the bag was heavy and I missed the rolling capability of a normal carry-on. However, if u put the shoulder strap on ur shoulder and grab the handles to take some weight off ur shoulder it’s fine. Just know that’ll happen if the bag is heavy. I was originally carrying by the handles only… do not recommend LOL. When I got to my gate I immediately went to the personal item size tester. The bag did not fit, and the gate agent was eyeballing me, but it turns out a shoe at the bottom was sticking out preventing it from dropping in. Once I rearranged that it fit easily and the gate agent made a mental note that it fit as a personal item. I will reiterate here not to stuff the bag full where u can barely zip it— unless it can squish down sightly to fit in the bin… because the dimensions of this bag ARE slightly larger than allowed. The bag got dirty on the bottom (of course) but even after three flights looks just like it did when I bought it. It’s a good-looking bag. I even bought a handbag to match it. I’m happy I bought it! 😊

Durable, beautiful, good value, 4 pieces, great storage space.
One of the best purchases I made on Amazon. This luggage set is versatile because it comes with 4 pieces. There is a weekender bag, a purse, a makeup or grooming kit bag, and a water resistant toiletry bag. This maxes out it's functionality. The weekender bag is huge inside and has 4 inner pockets including a waterproof pocket for anything that might be wet or get wet that you don't want touching the rest of your stuff. There is also a 5th outer pocket. The toiletry bag has a clear cover, so you can see inside it. The makeup back liner is black, so it won't have stains in there. The style I'd beautiful, very beach-like. I call it my Nantucket bag. It looks very refined and elegant. All the fixtures are made of metal, the loops, clasps, and zipper pulls. But the zipper itself is plastic, which I actually prefer, because I don't like how rough metal zippers can be on hands and items when you reach into a bag. Plastic zippers are soft and easier to manage. This is the ultimate weekender bag value set. The faux leather is beautiful as well. I don't leave many 5 star reviews. This one deserves it.

Wow! Buy it, In-depth review, It’s Better Quality than similar bag with more reviews.
If you’re on the fence about buying it, jump off! It’s 100% worth it! Read this before buying the Bolosta weekender bag, skip to the end for my verdict.I have all-cream luggage and I was looking for a cream-colored weekender to complete my set, especially for mini-trips. After surfing the internet, I found two options on Amazon that were most suitable to my needs. They looked so similar that I wasn’t sure which option to go with. So I decided to buy them both and compare. This review is what I found in my comparison and my opinion on what I think is the better bag. This should help anyone who was stuck between both bags like I was, to make a decision.😊😊Brands: I purchased the Bolosta bag ($37) and the Wogarl bag ($44), both cream-colored. The Bolosta bag has way more reviews so it was my first choice in the beginning. I’m glad I decided to buy both and compare because the differences are astounding!Dimensions: The Wogarl bag’s dimensions are (L)19.7 x (W)9.8 x (H)14.6 inches and the Bolosta bag’s dimensions are (L)19 x (W)9.5 x (H)13 inches. This means the Wogarl is the bigger bag.Cream Fabric: The first thing I noticed is that these bags are quite similar at first glance. The cream material on both bags is exactly the same texture, color, and quality. It’s quite nice and durable. This section is a tie!Leather: The Bolosta bag had a darker brown leather-like material that looks more artificial and cheaper than the leather on the Wogarl bag. The leather on the Wogarl has that aged, hyde look that leather tends to have and looks just like real leather. Wogarl wins this section if you’re looking for a more quality look.Shoe Compartment: The Wogarl bag has a much bigger shoe compartment than the Bolosta. I could probably fit two small shoes in the Bolosta but fit two large shoes or even three small shoes in the Wogarl. Also, the Wogarl is lined with a thick, silky material as opposed to the thin fabric in the Bolosta. Wogarl wins this section.Leather Strap: The leather straps on both bags are the same length and structure, however I like the Wogarl strap better since the leather material looks more quality. Wogarl wins this section.Zipper and Hardware: The Bolosta zipper is made with the leather material but the seams and thread is coming out so it looks cheap (pic included). The Bolosta hardware has a brushed gold finish. The Wogarl zipper is regular metal but feels durable. The hardware has a brushed steel finish.Front side: The front-sides of the bags are similar. The Bolosta has a plain face with one open pocket compartment. The Wogarl has the brand name etched on a piece of leather on the face of the bag. It also has 2 compartments, an open pocket and a zipped pocket. The space in the open pockets on both bags is the same. Because of the extra pocket the Wogarl has, Wogarl wins this section.Back side: The back-sides of the bags are exactly the same. There is a zipped pocket on both and an open space for a suitcase handle to pass through. The space in the pocket is the same on both bags. It’s a tie!Handles: The leather handles on the Bolosta are much smaller than the Wogarl. The Wogarl handles are thicker, maybe 2x the size so they feel more quality. Both bag’s handles have a leather strap that holds the handles together. The Wogarl’s strap fits tighter and more secure around the handles since the handles are thicker. Wogarl wins this section.Interior Space: The space in these bags are exactly the same. I included a picture where I put my cosmetics bag in both of the bags and you can see that the cosmetics bag takes up the same amount of space in both the Bolosta and the Wogarl. It’s a tie!Interior Fabric: There is a massive difference. Bolosta has a thin, cheap-looking material 😒 but Wogarl has a silky-satiny, soft, thick material with a nice sheen. This material looks and feels quite expensive. Wogarl wins this section.Interior Zip Pocket: The Wogarl has 2 zipped pockets, one lined with waterproof material and one lined with the silky fabric. Bolosta has 1 zipped pocket. Wogarl wins this section.Interior Open Pocket: Both bags have two open pockets but there are some differences. The Bolosta pockets are made with that same thin material but the Wogarl pockets are double-lined with the thick, silky material and also have a leather detail at the edges. Wogarl wins this section.Weight: The Wogarl is so much heavier than the Bolosta bag. This helps because it adds to the quality, expensive look. The Bolosta is quite light. I looked up the weights on the product pages. The Bolosta bag is 2.6lbs but the Wogarl is 2.95lbs. It feels even heavier than that, honestly. Wogarl wins this section. In conclusion, it’s no doubt that the Wogarl is the better bag. It looks more quality and expensive, it reminds me of my Polo Ralph Lauren bag. It also has more compartments and better looking and better feeling fabrics. The Bolosta in contrast looks and feels so much cheaper. Between both bags, it looks like more thought went into making The Wogarl since the fabrics, structure, size, textures, and features look more expensive than the Bolosta. It looks like it costs three times the price that I paid for it! I’m gonna go ahead and keep the Wogarl. I’m not sure why the Bolosta has more reviews, maybe it’s been on Amazon longer and it’s $7 cheaper than the Wogarl. But I think over time, people will realize the Wogarl is the better option. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps! 😊
