I used as a guide on my sewing machine. Just placed the tape in center of my needle . It works great for what I need. I have only replaced the tape once in about a month. Truly like it.

This seam tape works perfectly to help me get an accurate 1/4 inch seam for my quilting projects. I do not have to mark my fabrics when sewing a diagonal seam. Easy to apply and there is a sufficient amount to use to replace it when it gets worn.

Works great for lining up corners to sew diagonal lines, such as with half square triangles or joining binding strips. The tape is similar to Washi tape, so it is easy to reposition or remove without leaving any residue.
