Great jacket
Wore jacket and found it to be very warm and comfortable, the fit was good but Im tall and when I put my arms up it could have had a few inches on the bottom of the jacket. Love the way the jacket pack’s inside the left pocket and zips up. Very lightweight and packable for hiking. Good colors and looks good. Highly recommend this jacket.

Great jacket for the price
My wife and I are now retired and traveling more. In June we are going on a cruise to Alaska. We wanted warm jackets that packed well and didn’t want to pay a lot. After much research we bought these.PROS: Warm enough. Today we were in 47 degree weather with strong winds. With a t-shirt, fleece pullover, and the jacket I was warm. Like the inside pocket for my cell phone. Came with a nice drawstring bag for packing (my wife’s did not) and packed well. XL fit my 6’1”, 215 lb. frame perfectly. Fully zipped up, the hood did not blow off in the strong wind, though it allow some cold air in.CONS: No drawstring on the hood. My wife’s did not come with a packing bag. Might not work in freezing temps. Unsure about the long term durability. In summary, we are happy with these jackets for the price. We got them for traveling as they are very packable. Anyone that wants an everyday jacket for freezing temperatures may want to buy a higher quality jacket.

Water resistance
This jacket is very light, warm and it compresses well for packing. That much is obvious from the description and the reviews. It can be very hard to determine how a "water resistant" jacket will hold up in rain based on just the reviews. Will you be fine in a light quick drizzle? How about a long downpour? To test it properly, it's off to the shower. Here's my results:The fabric resists water well. It mostly beads up at first but will spread out after a longer time. The fabric still did not let the water through. The hood was the same and also did quite well.I would guess after hours of heavy rain there would be some penetration at the seams but under normal use it should suffice. The only caveat is the front and pocket zippers. The zipper area is not at all water resistant and if you get a lot of rain you will have water seeping through in that area. Whatever you are wearing will have a stripe down the middle from the water getting in the front zipper area.In conclusion-If you are traveling, skiing or just walking around outside you should be fine. If you plan on taking it camping in the rain, you might want something waterproof.

Comfortable and warm lightweight jacket
I have an Eddie Bauer down jacket that I was replacing. At the tail end of winter it’s hard to find things in my size or desired color. I found this jacket which was perfect in size. This type of jacket is very lightweight but provides a lot of insulation. It has two zippered outer pockets and an inside zippered chest pocket.I went outside today which was in the low 20s Fahrenheit. There was a decent wind outside, too. It kept me warm and free from the wind. It’s very comfortable and my choice of jackets for the high forties down to the low teens. The zipper works perfectly. It is accompanied by a small carry bag for easy transport. The hood is comfortable but it doesn’t have a tie down. For the money, it’s an excellent jacket with nice functionality and comfort.I’d definitely get it again.UpdateI wore it in Boulder, Colorado, in 22 degree temperature. It was very comfortable. In Roanoke, VA we had heavy winds at 32 degrees, and I was still very comfortable. The inside chest pocket comes in handy. Having the accompanying drawstring bag came in handy when traveling, whether it was to store my jacket, store snacks or transiently store my Tablet. The zippers are holding up well.

Very nice jacket
I bought this jacket for a hiking trip that I took this past weekend. I had a very nice, fairly expensive mountain hardwear jacket that I previously had used many times but sadly it no longer fits. This jacket met all my expectations. It was the perfect size for me in an extra large to be able to wear a fleece under it, I'm 5'8 220lbs. It kept me warm while we sat around the campfire in 30 degree temperatures with my fleece underneath. It wouldn't have been warm enough without my fleece but I didn't expect it to be, this is a coat suitable for 40 degree temperatures all day by itself. It's definitely suitable for the spring and fall temps that are just cold enough you need something more than typical a sweatshirt. It also worked very well as a pillow that night to sleep on. The only thing I didn't test was the water resistance. Very happy with this purchase!

Good but have some shortcomings
I got the blue one. The product is good but has some shortcomings. First the good things. The product is lightweight and seems to be well made. I have not checked whether it is really water repellent. But no need to think that it is not. I got the medium and it is big enough to allow me to layer with a sweater underneath. The shortcoming(s) are that 1) The hood does not come with any way to tighten the hood. And since the hood is big, i am not sure how it will hold up in windy conditions. 2). the inner lining is not sewn in with the outer lining. That means if you want to pull up the sleeve - the inner lining sticks to the sweater. Not a dealbreaker but something to think about. 3) The product does pack inside the pocket - but it is a very tight fit. The product does come with a spare pouch - so i guess I will be using that.overall decent - but you get what you pay for.
