Edit to update: I've had this appliance for close to a year now. We use it daily and it still works great. Heats a container full of water much faster than the gas stove burner does. Still very happy with it.I'm satisfied with the tea kettle. I love the features of presets and I also like that the easy to read LED temp display is on the bottom front of the kettle rather than on the handle. After your set temp is reached, the pot will hold that temp for 1 hour (with one temp exception) if you choose not to turn it off. The only temp it will not maintain for 1 hour is 212ºF, the kettle will turn off once that temp is reached. The design is very pretty. I like the shape of this one better than the one it's replacing on my counter. It's overall a very aesthetically pleasing appliance. The product box is very classy in matte black and the sleeve that holds the manual is the same. The price is very good too. Hoping to have this for years to come.

I mainly got this to brew tea at my work station at home. Honestly it's works really well and the materials it's made of is pretty lightweight yet durable. It great for prebagged tea and coffee (as long as you have a filter to catch the grinds). I haven't used it for any loose tea yet. The only thing that bothers me is that the cord isnt that long besides that it's great.Update: It's still in great condition. Some pointers; don't leave water in it because it will cause rust if left long enough (about 2 or so days), and make sure that you have at least the minimum amount of water in it or else it will cause burning on the plate.

Odd branded, and only 68 ratings (far less reviews), but I took a chance because of the features and sale price. So far, I am glad I did. It was so simple to use, I figured it out by myself. What stumped me was not the electronic temperature settings, but how to remove the top yoke after you take the top off, to clean inside. Finally, after searching the manual, and not finding out how, decided to gently lift it off, and it worked! It's just held in by pressure and the rubber collar. OK, so I'm old and don't remember if I put the lid on to begin with, from the box, or it came that way, but I'm hoping I didn't and it did! The trials of old age.Anyway, it works great, makes tea well and easily using the infuser and the temperature settings for various loose teas. This is an easy pot to like, even if it is a little chubby, like me. But that makes the pot easy to clean, much easier than me, for sure. I like it a lot, and hope it keeps working well. It also has a 2 year replacement warranty, or money back, it says right in the description, so that makes it easier to take a chance and buy a generic branded item that looks good to you, at the right price. As long as they keep the price attractive anyway. Time for a cuppa, enjoy!

There are two important things that I considered when choosing electric kettle. It should be made from glass. It should boil water fast.This kettle met both of the criteria. There are other kettles made from glass but most of them use stainless in spout of a kettle. There are kettle fully made from glass but they boil water real slow. You should select a kettle of at least 1500w if you want it to boil water quick.Other than that, it is very simple to use and you can also set six different temperature based on your purpose which is great.

I bought this and used it everyday. Cleaned it exactly how the directions told me and it stopped working after 4 mo. Was very disappointed! I normally don’t like giving negative reviews on products but you really do pay for what you get in this product. Upgrade to a better product and you’ll find it will last longer.

The media could not be loaded.  This worked well for three uses. I tried to use once more the heat index showed all H’s and the lever to turn on had no response, didn’t work. I unplugged and plugged it back in, nothing and I was not happy thought I found the perfect pot.
