These shooting glasses are comfortable to wear, seem free of optical distortion, and are advertised as removing 100% of UV light. The even come in a hard shell case. The real test will be how well they protect the eyes in the event of an accident.The glasses are listed as complying with the ANSI Z87.1+ standard. This is assurance that eye protection meets specific standards against impact as well as protection against "non-ionizing radiation" eg UV. There are also requirements for protection against splashes of liquid. I imagine the latter is achieved by these glasses being wrap=around.The “+” means the eye wear successfully passed high-velocity impact tests, as might occur in a breech explosion or inadvertent slamfire whilst shooting, or similar in in other high risk activities.These safety glasses are marked with CE CAT 8 on one earpiece which signifies protection from UV radiation. On the other earpiece is stamped "PZ87+ Taiwan BALLISTIC" . This is not an ANSI recognised marking. If the glasses meet the ANSI Z87.1+ standard that is what must be present. If Taiwan Ballistic is a reputable organisation I would expect them to know this.Despite all their good points there can be little confidence that these glasses will provide eye protection against impact.

I like the wrap around of these glasses. They really cover your eyes and keep debris away. I use them for air rifle protection and it is great to have my own glasses and not have to use the ones every one else uses. I also use them on my mobility scooter when I just need a clear protection from the wind and flying insects. They are lightweight to wear, very durable and robust. I love the case and carabiner I can have them permanently on my backpack and ready to use when needed. They even come with a lens cleaning cloth. Very reasonable price for a quality product.
